Emil A . Russoman

Emil A . Russoman , 81 , of Vineland , N . J . passed away on Monday , July 4 , 2022 at the Inspira Medical Center , Vineland , N . J .
Emil was born and raised in Newark , N . J . and was a longtime resident of Bloomfield , N . J . prior to moving to Vineland in 2000 . He was the son of the late Emil and Florence ( Spina ) Russoman .
Emil was a graduate with the class of 1958 of Central High School , Newark N . J . After high school he entered the U . S . Navy where he served until 1962 . Before retiring with over 35 years of service , Emil was employed as a biochemist with Hoffman LaRoche Pharmaceutical Company . His life revolved around his family especially his grandchildren .
Emil is survived by his wife of 60 years , Carol A . ( nee Whetstine ); two sons , Dan ( Laura ) Russoman and David ( Luisa ) Russoman ; five Grandchildren , Jessica , Casey , Samantha , David and Emily Russoman ; one brother , John ( Barbara ) Russoman ; one sister , Angela ( John ) Conway as well as several nieces and nephews .
Relatives and friends were received on Friday , July 8 , 2022 from 10 a . m . to 1 p . m . at the Pancoast Funeral Home , 676 S . Main Road , Vineland , N . J . where his funeral service was conducted at 1 p . m . Cremation and Inurnment followed . Margaret “ Marge ” C . Mastriano

Margaret “ Marge ” C . Mastriano ( nee Hlebik ), 93 , of Collings Lakes , N . J . passed away Monday , July 4 , 2022 .
Marge grew up in Allison , Pa . where she graduated from Redstone Twp . High School in Republic , Pa . Following high school she moved to Camden , N . J . and eventually settled in Collings Lakes , N . J . where she has lived since 1961 . Marge worked at the A & P Market and retired from SuperFresh in Egg Harbor Twp . in 1999 .
Marge was a kind and generous person with a great sense of humor . She will be missed by her family , her tight-knit group of friends and the staff at her retirement community . Marge loved the Lord , read her Bible every day and always kept her friends and family in her prayers .
She is predeceased by her parents , John and Magdalena ( nee Dzura ) Hlebik ; her husband , Thomas A . Mastriano ; brothers , John Hlebik Jr ., Andrew Hlebik and Michael Hlebik ; sisters , Sophie Burkhart , Mary Faiella and Anna Rothman ; her grandson , Mark Wayrynen ; and sonin-law , John Wayrynen .
Marge is survived by her children , Diana Wayrynen , Eugene Foy Jr . ( Joyce ), Terry Foy ( Linda ) and Dale Schwartz ( Jennifer ). She is the loving grandmother of Christie Gayda , Tricia Swan , Rebekah Davis , Christopher , Michael , Terry Jr ., Jennifer , Bryan , Kaitlin , Jill and Mason Foy . She is also a beloved aunt and great-grandmother .
Relatives and friends attended her viewing at 9 a . m . Saturday , July 9 , 2022 at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N . Third St . Hammonton , N . J . Funeral services followed at 10 a . m . Cremation was held privately .

Graziella Gobbo

Graziella Gobbo ( nee Pascon ), 84 , was called to heaven to be reunited with her husband Vincenzo on Sunday , July 3 , 2022 . She passed away peacefully with her family by her side .
Graziella was born and raised in Treviso Italy . Shortly after marriage , she and her husband came to America and settled in Hammonton where she raised her family . She worked for Anna Bertino ’ s National Garment Clothing Factory and others for many years until retiring ; she also worked at Whitehall Laboratories for a few years . Graziella was a seamstress by trade and did alterations for the people of Hammonton for many years before and after retirement which she enjoyed very much .
Graziella enjoyed spending time with family and friends ; she loved cooking , especially for the holidays . She also loved to tend to her garden and flowers . She and her husband enjoyed taking frequent trips to Italy to visit with their many relatives . She is predeceased by her parents , Erminigildo and Amabile ; and her husband , Vincenzo . She is survived by her sons , Ernesto ( Maureen ) and Marzio ; grandchildren , Rose and Xavier ; her brothers , Erminigildo , Giacomo and Luciano and their three wives as well as many nephews and nieces . Graziella will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her including her caretaker , Djoko Houson .
Family and friends attended her viewing Thursday , July 7 , 2022 from 9 a . m . to 10:45 a . m . at St . Mary of Mt . Carmel Parish – St . Joseph Church 3rd & French Streets Hammonton , N . J . Jean Grimm

Jean Grimm , 90 , of Hammonton passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday , July 5 , 2022 .
Jean was born in Utica , N . Y . and raised in the Millville and Vineland area before moving to Folsom , and finally settling in Hammonton for the past 52 years . Jean was a longtime member of St . James Lutheran Church in Folsom , and attended Hope Assembly of God Church in Malaga . Before retiring , she worked at Whitehall Laboratories in Hammonton . She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren .
She is predeceased by her husband , Edward H . Grimm Sr .; her son ,
Edward H . Grimm Jr .; her parents , Salvatore and Antoinette Folino ; and her sisters , Catherine Mercogliana and Mary Albanese . She is survived by her daughter , Gina O ’ Brien ( Scott ); her daughter-in-law , Maria Grimm ; her grandchildren , Kristen Gallagher ( Vincent ), Edward H . Grimm III ( Allison ) and Gia Marie Prestipino ( Nick ); and her great-grandchildren , Vincent , Dominic and Nicholas Gallagher . She is also survived by her sister , Martha Ingling and her brother , Santino Folino ( Gerri ).
A viewing was held on Saturday , July 9 , 2022 from 9:30 a . m . to 11:30 a . m . at the Carnesale Funeral Home , 202 S . Third Street in Hammonton , where funeral services were held at 11:30 am . Burial followed at St . James Lutheran Cemetery , 1341 Mays Landing Road in Folsom . In lieu of flowers , donations may be made to Hope Assembly of God , 377 Dutch Mill Road , Newfield , NJ 08344 .

Dr . Peter Tomasello

Dr . Peter Tomasello , 84 , passed away on Saturday , May 14 , 2022 at his home in Florida .
He was born August 30 , 1937 and raised in Hammonton , N . J . Upon completion of his undergraduate studies and medical school he became a member of the U . S . Army Special Forces , serving from 1966 to 1968 . He was a Green Beret Paratrooper and a Captain of the 5th Special Forces Group . While serving in the Republic of Vietnam from 1967 to 1968 , he received the purple heart and bronze star for meritorious service .
Upon completion of his military service , he completed a general surgery residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia . Following his surgery residency , he relocated to South Florida where he began what became a 34-year practice in general surgery , ending upon his retirement in 2006 . During his career as a surgeon , he was active in organized medicine serving as president of Broward County Medical Association . He was a longtime delegate to the Florida Medical Association representing Broward County . Additionally , he served as Chief of Staff at Plantation General Hospital . Dr . Tomasello was appointed the surgeon on call to President Carter during his south Florida visit . He was one of the first surgeons in Broward County to perform advanced laparoscopic procedures and entero-stapling instrumentation . Dr . Tomasello was the first surgeon to perform a laparoscopic cholecystectomy in Broward County and he started the bariatric program at University Hospital . Throughout his extensive career , Dr . Tomasello mastered general surgery from pediatrics to thoracic to geriatric expertise .
Outside of the operating room , Dr . Tomasello enjoyed boating and fishing , attending sporting events and snow skiing . After retiring he traveled the world from Jerusalem to the Great Wall of China , Vietnam and Europe .
He is predeceased by his brother , Ollie Tomasello ; wife , JoAnn Tomasello ; and his parents .
He is survived by his children , Peter Tomasello Jr . D . O .; David Tomasello , Lisa Tomasello M . D . and Lora Tomasello BSN ; along with his many grandchildren , Victoria , Peter , Alexis , Samantha , Nina , Stella , Isabella and Sydney ; niece , Jennie ; and nephew , Ollie .
Graveside services will be held 11 a . m ., Friday , July 15 , 2022 , in Greenmount Cemetery 124 S . First Road Hammonton , N . J . In lieu of flowers , donations can be made to Shriners Hospital or to St . Jude Children ’ s Hospital .

Arrested

POLICE , from Page 1 “ The victim was a 13-year-old female ,” Friel said .
Officer Travis Hoffman and Det . David Reustle were the investigating and charging officers , Friel said .
Porch was transported to the Atlantic County Jail , Friel said .
In other police news , several driving while under the influence ( DWI ) arrests were made last week , including the following , Friel said .
• On July 6 at 11:04 p . m . on the 800 block of S . White Horse Pike , Friel said Officer Richard Carpo observed a light-colored Cadillac Escalade traveling eastbound on the White Horse Pike ( Route 30 ) and failing to maintain a lane of travel . The vehicle appeared to be traveling lower than the posted speed limit , Friel said .
“ The vehicle was traveling with its left blinker on , with the vehicle not making any turns . It was stopped and found to be operated by Tyrice Minnick , 36 , of Essington , Pa .” Friel said .
Minnick was found to be operating his vehicle under the influence of alcohol and was transported to police headquarters for processing , Friel said . He was charged with the following motor vehicle violations : driving while under the influence , careless driving , failing to maintain lane of
