Roadside markets draw customers

HAMMONTON — Town council discussed the recent flooding issue at their regular meeting at 7 p . m . on June 28 in town hall .
Councilman Steven Furgione noted that the town experienced “ four inches of rain in a short period of time .
“ We took in a lot of water at the sewer plant , but we recovered quickly ; we recovered in about 12 hours . We did well with that ,” Furgione said .
