Elderly couple allegedly steals from antique store

Lt. Kevin Friel said. The thefts
were reported at 10:59 a.m.on
June 28 by a walk-in complaint at
the Hammonton Police Depart-
ment, Friel said.
“It was reported that items were
taken on June 22 between 10 a.m.
and 11 a.m., an elderly couple en-
tered the store and filled two
purses with merchandise. They
then proceeded to leave the store
without paying for it,” Friel said.
The male subject is described as
six feet tall in his late 60s wearing
a light blue shirt and walking with

merce’s 33rd Annual Red, White
and Blueberry Festival.
