“By this stringent standard, congratulations, we did it. We accomplished all that we
sought in order to be here today sitting on
this field. In the process, we have broken
records, discovered new relationships, lost
ones we cared about, experienced coordinating stress and pride, tried new things and either loved them or hated them, and all the
while generally living life for its ups and
downs. We have done things, and for this you
all deserve the highest accolades and applause,” Heath said.
Heath posed a challenge to the graduates
of the Class of 2015. It involved the infinity
of time and the lasting impressions they
leave on those around them.
“We do not realize it, but actions we take
do not cease to exist after we experience
them. Each moment is alive in the memories
of others. In this way, every moment is infinite and eternal, each special in its own importance. What the importance may be
