Hammonton Police make several arrests

HAMMONTON – Police made
several arrests last week, including
the following, according to Hammonton Police Captain Nick Salvatore:
• On June 10 at 2:30 p.m.,
Michael Grone, 34, of Hammonton was arrested on a warrant in
the amount of $2,000 from Maple
Shade Municipal Court, Salvatore
said.
Salvatore said Grone was arrested and released on bail by
Class II Officer Charles Sbarra III.
• On June 14 at 10:54 a.m.,
Michelle Mette, 25, of Sicklerville, was arrested for shoplifting at Walmart, located at 55 S.
White Horse Pike, Salvatore said.
Mette also had a warrant from

Hammonton in the amount of
$500, Salvatore said.
Mette was placed in the Atlantic
County Jail by Cpl. John
Panarello, Salvatore said.
• On June 15 at 3:46 a.m., Candido Ramirez-Gomez, 34, of
Hammonton was arrested for driving while under the influence of
alcohol (DWI), reckless driver,
unlicensed driver, failure to report
an accident and uninsured mo-
mond Franks, 34, of Hammonton
was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and possession of
a weapon for unlawful purpose,
Salvatore said.
According to Salvatore, the arrest of Franks was made at the 400
block of N. Egg Harbor Road, Salvatore said.
Salvatore said Officer Donald
Kunen was the arresting officer.
Franks was released on his own
recognizance by Hammonton Municipal Court Judge Frank Raso,
Salvatore said.

Salvatore said Ramirez-Gomez
was involved in a one-vehicle accident at the corner of Peach and
Second Streets. His car struck a
tree, Salvatore said.
“He was arrested a short distance from the accident,” Salvatore said.
Salvatore said Officer Chris
Clements was the arresting officer.
Ramirez-Gomez was charged
and released on his own recognizance, Salvatore said.
