JoAnn Sabatini Joann Sabatini, 78, of Hammonton died tuesday, June 5, 2018, peace- fully at her home in elmtowne Village, N.J. She was born on November 28, 1939 in Hammonton and was a 1957 graduate of Hammonton High School, where she was voted Class Clown. She began her work history at Chester Milley’s accounting firm in Ham- monton. She also worked as a pit clerk and later as a massage therapist at Bally’s Park Place Casino, atlantic City. Joann was a free spirit whose sunny attitude, sense of humor and kind heart won her the love of many. She wa s always willing to lend a helping hand to friends, family and her elmtowne neighbors. in the midst of any problem, it was Joann’s way to “Shine a Light On it.” Her positivity and warmth drew people to her. Joann loved to travel and experience new cultures and foods. She had a particular fondness for Morocco and enjoyed visiting her many friends in florida. She was devoted to a healthy lifestyle of practicing yoga, eating natural foods and staying active. a fan of art/indie films, Joann would be found most tuesdays at the Ritz theater. She is predeceased by her parents, Ronald and Bertha Sabatini; her sister, Jean Bertino and her brother-in-law, anthony Bertino, all of Hammonton.She is survived by her dear brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Phyllis Sabatini of Berlin. She was much beloved by her five nieces, Linda Bertino of Mullica township, Joanne adams (David) of Mays Landing, Sandra Bour- guignon of Galloway township, Gina Yaroch (Stephen) of Mount Laurel and Christine earle (Harry) of Berlin and will be missed by her nine great nieces and nephews, erik Schroder, Cameron, Hayley and Lucas adams, Kelsie Grover, Stephen Yaroch and Matthew, Gregory and Jack earle. a visitation and funeral service were held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Carnesale funeral Home. in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, 157 W. Merlino (nee DeMarco ), age 93, of Hammonton died peace- fully on friday, June 8, 2018 at her residence. Born in Hammonton in 1924, she was a lifelong resident. Rose worked in several Hammonton garment factories as a seamstress and later as a floor supervisor. after she married, she worked as the bookkeeper for the family farming business, Oakcrest farms. She was the secretary for the family trucking and produce business, Merlino Bros. inc. until retirement in 1997. Rose loved going on bus trips to the casino. She enjoyed reading, completing crossword puzzles, crocheting and watching her favorite game shows. Her greatest enjoyment was cooking for and spending time with her two grandchildren. Rose was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, anthony Merlino; her parents, Phillip and Mamie DeMarco; her brothers, Carmen, Rocco, Phillip, anthony and John and her sisters, Carmela Merlino and Rita amedio. She is survived by her daughters, Ginna alysse (Gladys) allen and Clayton of Hammonton, Linda Merlino of Cape May; her two precious grandchil- dren, Marissa and Keith Marshall of Cape May; her sisters, Gladys tomasella and Stella Daniello; her sisters-in-law, Mary Demarco and anna DeMarco and many nieces and nephews. a Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on tuesday, June 12, 2016 at St. Mary of Mt.
