New buses at schools

HAMMONTON — The Hammonton School District recently acquired several new buses for the schools ,

With these new vehicles , the district hopes to keep children safe , and with the latest technology available on the Integrated Coach

WOMAN ARRESTED ON TILTON STREET

HAMMONTON — Police were assaulted while trying to make a suspicious person arrest at 10:37 p . m . on June 2 , Hammonton Police Chief Kevin Friel said .
Officer John Amendolia observed the suspicious person , a women later identified as Amariliz Colon-Ruiz , 39 , of Hammonton , Friel said , adding that she was known to have three active warrants .

HAMMONTON — On June 4 , the Hammonton Drug Alliance and Hammonton Family Success Center held a Town-Wide Yard Sale , with more than 60 locations in Hammonton . The event was sponsored by READ Preschool / Kindergarten Day Care , and many people participated in the event . Signs were posted all over town , with the words yard sale and an arrow directing interested customers .
A map was provided by the Hammonton Drug Alliance and Family Success Center locating every yard sale in the area . South Egg Harbor Road , North Third Street and Fairview Avenue were some of the many roads in Hammonton with more than one yard sale on the street . town council .
Public Works Manager Robert Vettese explained the purpose of the presentation . He said that Hammonton had received a grant from the New Jersey League of Conservation Voters .
