Wuillermin, 65, was the first
candidate who was introduced by
Mayor Stephen DiDonato. He
was first elected to town council
in 2005, the first year of Hammonton First as a founding member of the political organization.
He is the chairman of the town
water and sewer committee, former public utility advocate for the
town of Hammonton, former
president of MainStreet Hammonton, former member of the New
Jersey Pinelands Commission and
other boards and commissions.
He is the co-owner of Ed Wuillermin and Sons Farms.
Wuillermin discussed being
able to take on the tough tasks that
have been presented to council
during the first 11 years of Hammonton First’s existence.
“I think during these 11 years,
as the mayor said, we have not
only had excellent support, but
some outstanding council representatives and two excellent mayors, both John and Stephen
[DiDonato], and it speaks the
world about the stock that the DiDonatos come from. We also
have a number of outstanding
candidates, officials that have
come to our organization that
have contributed significantly to
the success of our group and the
town. I am thrilled to be running
with Mr. Gribbin. He is one of
those excellent contributors to the
town, and to a new candidate
[Elsie Baez],” Wuillermin said.
One of the aspects Wuillermin
has enjoyed about Hammonton
First is having the ability to bring
new faces to the forefront including candidates like Baez.
“That has helped revitalize our
community. Tonight, we have another new candidate, another new
face and that really makes me excited because in our endeavors to
get more and more people into
the process, I picture Elsie Baez.
We are reaching an important sector of our community that has
been with us for a long time,”
Wuillermin said.

Gribbin, 35, was first elected to
town council in 2009. He is the
chairman of the town administration committee, current member
of the Hammonton Planning
Board and is a certified New Jersey Land Use Law and Planning
Official. He is also heavily involved in the community as a
coach for the Hammonton Youth
Soccer Association and Hammonton Little League, and an active
parishioner at St. Mary of Mt.
Carmel. He is an attorney in
Philadelphia, with corporate and
labor law experience.
Gribbin, who is also seeking reelection, thanked everyone, including his family, for their
support throughout the process of
being a councilman for two separate terms. Gribbin talked about
Hammonton being at a crossroads
a decade ago.
“It was either politics as usual,
or choose a new course with a
goal of bringing Hammonton
back to greatness, led by concerned citizens, not politicians
with one simple promise: For the
people, not the politics. And here
we are today. There is only one
thing I can say and one thing to
say, and that is thank you. Thank
you to the residents of this great
town for believing in Hammonton
First. Together, we have accomplished amazing things. Our town

is now the leader in Atlantic
County and the envy of South Jersey,” Gribbin said.
Gribbin expressed gratitude for
being a part of making a positive
impact on the town and its growth
in recent years. He discussed
working with Hammonton First
campaign chairperson Ryan
Mayer in creating the town’s
tourism and development committee.
“It is [a] committee that has
successfully marketed our town in
bringing in a distillery, and now
two breweries … We hope this is
the beginning of a blossoming
craft beverage industry in our
town that will complement our
existing wineries, boost our tax
ratables, potentially create jobs,
and most importantly open up our
town to more visitors with disposable income who will eat at our
restaurants and shop at our stores.
It is with sincerity that I truly
enjoy the work we do on town
council. I love being able to help
our residents and address their
concerns,” Gribbin said.
