ACCIDENT LEADS TO DUI

HAMMONTON — A man who was trapped in his car following a single-vehicle car crash on the 500 block of N . Third Street at 7:56 p . m . on May 26 was later charged
HAMMONTON — At the May 24 meeting of town council , held at 7 p . m . in town hall , the public reading was held for Ordinance No . 004-2021 , prohibiting the operation of any class of cannabis businesses within the geographical boundaries
HAMMONTON — Hammonton has long been known as a hub of agricultural activity , though the presence of farm animals — once a vital part of the town ’ s agribusiness — is not as prevalent as it once was . However , the town is not with driving while under the influence of alcohol ( DUI ), Hammonton Police Chief Kevin Friel said .
Friel said Jesus Mendez , 46 , of Winslow Twp . was transported to Virtua for treatment
of Hammonton and amending Chapter 175 , Article XIII of the land development ordinances of the town of Hammonton .
During the public comment portion , Hugh Giordano , a representative from United Food and Commercial Workers ( UFCW ) Local 152 , spoke against the adoption of the ordinance .
