Lillian Sikora

Lillian ( Granick ) Sikora , 93 , of Bonita Springs was promoted to heaven to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday , May 20 , 2022 surrounded by family at home . Lillian was born June 16 , 1928 and grew up in Atlantic City , N . J .
She was a loving wife of 75 years to Bill who passed December 7 , 2020 , wonderful mother to seven children including David Sikora who preceded her in death , grandmother and great-grandmother .
Lillian had a great love for her family , her church family and God ’ s Word . She actually smuggled Bibles behind the Iron Curtain at one time . Lillian and Bill poured their lives into family , church and missions . They shared a strong faith testifying that it was God ’ s grace and mercy that they succeeded together in businesses together allowing them to support ministries at home and all over the world .
She is survived by daughter , Lynda ; son , William Jr . ( Ingrid ); son , Mark ; daughter , Suzanne ( Mark ); nephew , Stephen ( Darlene ); daughter-in-law , Helen ; 11 grandchildren ; and 13 great-grandchildren .
A celebration service will be held at Gospel Baptist Church , Bonita Springs , Fla .

Elizabeth June Morrow

Elizabeth June ( Allen ) Morrow , 91 , passed away at home Friday , May 20 , 2022 .
She was born in Elmira , N . Y . on April 12 , 1931 . Her family moved to Darby , Pa . where she attended and graduated from Glen-Knorr High School in Glenolden , Pa . in 1950 . She married her high school sweetheart , Charles William Morrow in December 1950 . She was a homemaker most of her life . She loved camping , and sewing , but her favorite time was Christmas . She had a different decorated tree in every room .
She is predeceased by her husband , Charles Morrow ; her parents , Kenneth and Anna ( McNeal ) Allen ; and her son , Kenneth Morrow .
She is survived by her children , June Carlantonio ( Stan Redrow ), Edwin Morrow ( Sherry ), Debra Salmon , Sandra ( Carmen ) Trifiletti and Kipper ( Patty ) Morrow ; her grandchildren , Michelle ( Mark ) Redrow , Christopher ( Remy ) Morrow , Stephanie Dobos , Eddie Morrow , Rebekah ( Matthew ) Gardner , Joy ( Joel ) Franke , Luke ( Brianna ) Trifiletti , Hope ( Paul ) Welch and Samantha Ford ; great-grandchildren , Charlee and Jaycee Redrow , Salvatore and Nicholas Morrow , Noah , Callie , Owen and Declan Gardner , Josiah , Ethan and Milo Franke , Rosie and Juni Welsh ; and her faithful buddy , Shakey .
Funeral services and burial at St . James Lutheran Cemetery in Folsom were held privately at the convenience of the family .

Jean M . Bruno

It is with great sadness that the family of Jean M . Bruno ( Elvins ) conveys the news of her death after 94 years on this earth . Born in Hammonton , N . J . in 1928 she died at home with her family in Piscataway , N . J . on May 24 , 2022 . Daughter of George Andrew Elvins and Virginia French , whose ancestors arrived in South Jersey in the mid – 19th century from Philadelphia . Both families were active in the business and civic life of her hometown .
An avid field hockey player in her youth , Jean graduated from Rutgers College in 1950 with a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture . It was there that she met her future husband , Henry Bruno . Before her marriage in 1951 , she worked as a seed analyst for the state of New Jersey under her lifelong friend , Jennie Bloodgood . Jean and Henry moved to Metuchen , built a house and retail store and opened Bruno ’ s Nursery on Main Street . The sales counter had been salvaged from the Elvin ’ s store and post office established in 1861 in Hammonton . Jean served as propagator , sales force and accountant for the business .
When the family and nursery operations needed room for expansion Jean found a 15- acre farm and 18th century house in Piscataway . In 1962 , an irrigation pond was dug , a new greenhouse constructed and soon the once fallow field were filled with ornamental plants , fruit and vegetable gardens . She joined the Historical Society and opened their home to tours during the town ’ s Tricentennial in 1966 . She worked at the Piscataway Public Library and enjoyed sports , travel , bird watching and gardening with her family .
Jean is predeceased by her husband , Henry Bruno ; and sisters , Virginia Macri and Roberta Churchill .
Jean is survived by daughters , Jean B . Stremlo ( Rodney ) and Virginia F . Bruno both of Piscataway ; sons , George B . Bruno ( Heather ) of Burien Wash . and Henry L . Bruno ( Beth ) of Blacksburg , S . C . along with eight grandchildren and eight great – grandchildren .
In lieu of flowers , memorial donations should be made to your favorite charity . Card of condolence may be sent to the Bruno Family at 430 S . Randolphville Road , Piscataway NJ 08854 . Funeral services are under the direction of the Piscataway Funeral Home .

Route 206 crash causes injuries

POLICE , from Page 1 that a vehicle was traveling southbound on Route 206 , Friel said . The vehicle was operated by Alexia Arroyo , 29 , of Philadelphia , Pa . She failed to maintain her lane of travel , suddenly heading into the northbound lane , Friel said .
Arroyo impacted with vehicle two on the driver ’ s side , and then impacted with vehicle number three , which was also heading northbound on Route 206 , Friel said .
All occupants of vehicles were transported for medical treatment , and Arroyo was charged with the following motor vehicle violations : reckless driving , driving while under the influence , failure to secure a child in a safety seat , careless driving , failing to maintain lane of travel , failing to possess insurance card , driving while suspended and she was also charged criminally with two counts of assault by auto and one count of endangering the welfare of a child , Friel said .
Officer Kyle Ambrozaitis is the investigating and charging officer , Friel said .
In other police news , police are seeking a man who robbed a retail establishment on the prime block of S . White Horse Pike ( Route 30 ) at 6:24 p . m . on May 26 , Friel said .
Officer Dalton Scola was advised that an unknown male subject struck a cashier and removed money from the cash register , Friel said . The accused subject left the area in a black Lexus with an unreadable Florida registration , Friel added .
The cashier was evaluated by EMS and declined medical treatment , Friel said .
Friel said the accused is described as a thin , Black male wearing all black and was last seen traveling in a black Lexus .
Anyone with information should contact the Hammonton Police Department at ( 609 ) 561- 4000 , Friel said .
Friel said Scola is the investigating officer .
Also , police made a driving while under the influence ( DWI ) arrest at 8:47 p . m . on May 28 at the intersection of West End Avenue and West Orchard Street , Friel said .

he stopped the accused vehicle , a 2004 blue Ford Explorer operated by Miguel Maldonado-Felipe , 38 , of Hammonton , Friel said .
“ He exhibited signs of impairment and had multiple containers of alcoholic beverage inside the vehicle ,” Friel said .
He was placed under arrest , transported to police headquarters for processing and charged with the following motor vehicle violations : driving while under the influence , reckless driving , careless driving , unlicensed driver , open container of alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle , failure to give proper signal , wrong way on a one-way street , failure to comply with officer ’ s direction and failure to stop and yield to an emergency vehicle , Friel said .
Maldonado-Felipe was released as per John ’ s Law pending a court appearance in Hammonton Joint Municipal Court , Friel said .
This report is comprised of arrests and investigations made by the men and women of local enforcement . All suspects and arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law .
