Hammonton Lake oil spill discussed

HAMMONTON — On May 10 , the Hammonton Lake Water Quality Committee met at town hall to discuss different matters about the Hammonton Lake . Members in attendance were Chair Dan Bachalis , Dwight Baldwin , John Keenan and Robert Roesch . Bachalis welcomed everyone to the meeting , and recognized Rebecca French- Mesch was at the meeting , along with The Gazette .
Bachalis mentioned the minutes written by the Parks and Rec Commission during their meeting , bringing up the potential for a skateboard park , and new pickleball courts being converted from the tennis courts . The courts themselves would be converted into pickleball courts , but would
still function as tennis courts .
The committee mentioned an oil spill on the lake , and tried to specify what the origin of the spill
