Cypress well contaminated

HAMMONTON — During the April 25 meeting of town council , Councilman
Steven Furgione informed his colleagues that notice had been received from a resident on Cypress Court of elevated levels of PFAS ( Perfluoroalkyl substances ) in their drinking well test .

HAMMONTON — On June 4 , the Hammonton Drug Alliance ( HDA ) and Hammonton Family Success Center ( HFSS ) will be holding a Town Wide Yard Sale event . The event is expected to draw a big crowd , with around 100 homes registered in attendance last year . Mary Young is in charge of running the event , and explained everything needed to register .
“ It ’ s $ 10 for registration , and you set up at your own residence . In order to be on the map , you have to go register at 310 Bellevue Avenue ; the Hammonton Family Success Center , they have the registration forms there ,” Young said .
Young also added that interested residents could contact and running . Hammonton Board of Education President Sam Mento III told The Gazette during an interview that the program is running smoothly at the Hammonton Early Childhood Education Center ( ECEC ), and feedback is good .

Town Wide Yard Sale coming June 4

After collecting all the registration forms , the map for the Town Wide Yard Sale will be made . A listing of all the yard sale sites will be printed in The Gazette and the map will be posted on the HDA Facebook , the HFSS Facebook and Downtown Hammonton may post it as well according to Young . The map will include the participating homes and residents of the yard sale . The map contains pin points on the home , as well as a key for different options .
Along with the yard sale , a hoagie sale is also being held on June 4 . The tickets can be purchased at the Success Center , or interested parties can contact
