Anthony V . Rebardo
Anthony V . Rebardo , 62 , of Hammonton passed away suddenly on Saturday , April 17 , 2021 at Virtua Health Systems in Voorhees .
Born in Vineland he was a lifelong resident of Hammonton . Anthony worked as the head mechanic for Egg Harbor Township Public Works . He enjoyed being with his grandson , Vincent racing quarter midget cars , and he was a member of the South Jersey Quarter Midgets Association .
Anthony is predeceased by his parents , Anthony and Angelina ( nee Mortelliti ) Rebardo .
He is survived by his wife , Caroline ( nee Maliszewski ) Rebardo ; two children , Tony Rebardo and Rebecca Rebardo Ramp ; his step-daughter , Emily Pedersen ; two grandchildren , Vincent Rebardo and Angelina

Anthony C . Berenato , 98 , of Hammonton , died on Saturday April 17 , 2021 at Mainland Division-AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center .
Born and raised in Hammonton , Anthony was a lifelong resident and graduate of Hammonton High School . He along with his son Robert owned and operated Premium Oil Company in Hammonton retiring in 1995 . He served proudly in the U . S . Coast Guard during WWII stationed in Greenland . He was a Trustee on the Board of Directors at the former Hammonton Savings and Loan , later Empire Bank and a past president and member of the Kiwanis Club in Hammonton . Anthony had a love and passion for aviation and was a pilot and enjoyed radio-controlled airplanes . His biggest joy came from being surrounded by family and friends . He is survived by his son , Robert Berenato and his daughter , Judi Gibson . Funeral services and burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family .

Helen E . Merlo
Helen E . Merlo ( nee Strouse ), 86 , of Hammonton , N . J . passed away peacefully at Royal Suites Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center on Friday , April 23 , 2021 .
Born in Rosedale she was a Graduate of HHS Class of 1953 . Helen worked for Whitehall Laboratories for over 30 years , retiring in 1993 . She enjoyed going to the casinos in her earlier years as well as having lunch with her high school classmates . But most of all , she loved every minute spent with her family .
Helen is predeceased by her parents , Bill & Doris ( nee Christopher ) Strouse ; her husband , Nicholas J . Merlo ; her grandson , Lawrence J . Smith and her beloved dog , Maya .
She is survived by her daughter , Marcia A . Smith and her husband Larry , her son , Nicholas J . Merlo Jr .; her sister , Virginia Lanza ( Joe ); her grandchildren , Kyle Smith ( Jesseca ), Nicole Wentz ; her great-grandchildren , Haley Long ( Albert ), Brianna Smith , Mia Smith , Ethan Smith and Mackenzie Smith ; her great-great-grandson , Frankie Long and Ava her granddog .
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation Wednesday , April 28 , 2021 , 5:30 p . m . to 8 p . m . at the Carnesale Funeral Home , 202 S . Third St ., Hammonton . A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday , April 29 , 2021 , 10 a . m . in St . Mary of Mt . Carmel Parish , Church of St . Joseph ’ s 226 French St ., Hammonton . Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery . In lieu of flowers , the family asks that donations in Helen ’ s memory be made to The Sunshine Foundation , 101 Lakeside Drive , Southampton , PA 18966 .
