HAMMONtON—Police made
several drug-related arrests last
week, Hammonton Police Chief
robert Jones said.

charges at 2:11 p.m. on April 18 on
the 100 block of railroad Avenue,
Jones said.
“An officer approached a vehicle
with two passengers in the vehicle.
following a pat down for safety
reasons, the officer discovered
nearly 100 prescription narcotics
on the individual,” Jones said.
Joseph iacono, 47, of Chesil-
hurst, was charged with possession
of a controlled dangerous substance oxycodone and possession
with intent to distribute, Jones said.
He was released on his own re-
cognizance, Jones said.
Jones said Katherine Piermatteo,
who was also in the vehicle, was
arrested on an outstanding warrant
from Berlin Borough in the amount
of $210. She was given a new court
date and released, Jones said.
