Elba I. Nieves
Elba I. Nieves, 60 of Mulli ca Twp., died on Friday, April 13, 2018.
Born in New York City, she was a resident of the Mullica Township
and Hammonton area since 2000. She worked as a medical receptionist
for AtlantiCare Life Support Training Center in Egg Harbor Township.
She is survived by her husband, Roberto Morales; one daughter,
Christy Santiago (Octavio Jr.); one son, Robert Morales; three step-daugh-
ters, Luz E. Morales (Luis), Yanitza Morales (Frankie) and Giselle
Morales; her father, Manuel Nieves Sr.; one brother, Manuel Nieves Jr.;
11 grandchildren, Manuel A., Alexander, Omar, Lisandra, Yaniliz, Lissa,
Odalis, Celimar, Eric, Andrew and Jocelyn; two great-grandchildren, Bri-
anna and Eric. She will be terribly missed many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and
her special dog Xander. She was predeceased by her mother, Nerla I. Rivera.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, April 21 at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel
Parish St. Anthony of Padua Church. Burial was private.

Anna Templeton
Anna Templeton (nee Cappuccio), 90 of Hammonton, died on Wednes-
day, April 18, 2018 at her granddaughter’s residence.
Born in Hammonton, Anna was a lifelong resident. She was a home-
maker and enjoyed baking and cooking for family and friends and espe-
cially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who
she lived life to the fullest for.
Anna was predeceased by her husband, Charles Sr. and son, Charles
Jr.; sisters, Grace Jacobs and Mildred Rubba; brothers, James Cappuccio
and Angelo Cappuccio. Surviving is her son, Brian Templeton of Ham-
monton; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and brother, An-
thony Cappuccio.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday April 23, 2018 at the St. Mary of
Mt. Carmel Parish St. Anthony Church. Interment followed at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery
Hammonton.

Lee Roblin
Lee Roblin, 75 of Hammonton, died on April 19, 2018.
Lee was with the Special Forces United States Army during the Vietnam War where he
was stationed in Germany. He was owner and operator of Roblin Construction in Hammonton
and a faithful member of the Solid Rock Baptist Church in Berlin, N.J.
The beloved husband of the late Carol (nee Labbe); devoted father of Jim Roblin
(Wendy(Wendy), Mike Roblin and John Roblin; proud grandfather of Jim Jr., Anthony, Zack,
Jake, Erika, Lacy and Kaitlyn; loving companion of Dianne Hladczuk.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday, April 27 from 6 p.m. to 7:30
p.m. at the Solid Rock Baptist Church, 420 S. White Horse Pike Berlin, NJ, 08009. A funeral
service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Cremation and interment will take place privately. In lieu of
flowers contributions to the Solid Rock Baptist Church at the above address would be appre-
ciated.

John Mascio Jr.
John Mascio Jr., 77 of Elm, died on Saturday, April 21, 2018 in Penn
Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia.
Born in Hammonton on September 20, 1940 he was a lifelong area res-
ident. Mr. Mascio owned and operated Mascio and Sons Painting; he also
worked as a bridge operator for Atlantic County. He was an avid hunter
and fisherman that led to his building his cabin in Maine. Mr. Mascio en-
joyed traveling and spending time in their New Port Richie, Florida home.
Lately he discovered a new passion for winemaking and sharing his efforts
with others.
He was predeceased by his son, Brian Mascio; his parents, John and
Catherine Mascio; his mother- and father- in-law, Mary and Rocco Tomasetti; his sisters,
Marie Reckner; Vera Mascio and his brother, Danny Mascio. Mr. Mascio is survived by his
wife, Eileen Mascio (nee Tomasetti); two daughters and their spouses, Donna and Jim Davis
of Mullica, Roxanne and Ben Andronico of Hammonton; his son and his spouse, John and
Theresa Mascio of Folsom; his daughter-in-law, Kelly Mascio of Mullica; two sisters, Shirley
Shina of Hammonton and Rita Warren of Blackwood; his brother- in-law, Richard Tomasetti
and his wife Dolores of Elm; 10 grandchildren, Tanya Fowler, Melissa Bartolone, Kelly
Volpe, Ren Andronico, Justin Andronico, John Mascio IV, Alexandria Baginski, Brian Mascio
Jr., Joseph Mascio and Kayla Samuelson; nine great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews,
cousins and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today, April 25 at 10 a.m. in St. Mary of
Mt. Carmel Parish, St. Joseph Church, 226 French St., Hammonton. Burial will follow in
Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hammonton. A viewing will be held today, from 8:30 a.m. - 9:30
a.m. at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton.

HAMMONTON—Four individuals were arguing
in the parking lot of the Hammonton Police Depart-
ment at 11:36 a.m. on April 21 and it escalated into a
fight, leading to charges for all four men, Hammon-
ton Police Detective Sgt. Edward Slimm said.
The four individuals charged by police were:
• Abimale Barreto, 18, of E. Orchard Street
• Kelvin Barreto, 20, of Grape Street
• Alejandro Munguia, 18, of Atlantic City
• Francisco Salazar, 19, of Folsom
“They were all charged with disorderly conduct,”
Slimm said.
According to Slimm, Officer Eric Pohl said the

leased pending a court date.
In other police news, police made a warrant arrest
on Laurie Schleyer, 58, of the 100 block of Lincoln
Street at 8:06 a.m. on April 14, Hammonton Police
Chief Robert Jones said.
“She was arrested on an outstanding warrant from
Hammonton for $1,000,” Jones said.
Cpl. James Pinto was the arresting officer, Jones
said.
Jones said Schleyer was given a new court date and
released.

ATV stolen

Angelina Casella
Angelina Casella, 82 of Hammonton, died suddenly on Tuesday, April
17, 2018 at AtlantiCare Medical Center in Galloway Township.
Born in Hammonton she was a lifelong resident there. Angelina worked
as a machine operator for several clothing factories in Hammonton. She
also worked at Greenbriar Nursing Home and as a home health aide.
She was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Jennie Casella; her
siblings, Joseph Casella, Rose Chiovari, Maria Zerra and Michael Casella.
She is survived by nieces and nephews, Larry Chiovari (Donata), Joseph
Chiovari, Dominick Chiovari Jr. (Gail), Sharon Zerra, Debbie Bishop
(Kenny), Donna Raively (Bill), Kevin Cassella, Dean Cassella (Teresa),
Denae Horn (Jon), Shannon Cassella, Jason Cassella and many great nieces and great
nephews.
Private funeral services were held at the convenience of the family.
