Jeanne Marie Lindsay
Jeanne Marie Lindsay ( nee Goins ), 79 , of Hammonton , N . J . passed away peacefully Friday , April 14 , 2023 . She was surrounded by her loving family . Raised in Atco , she was the salutatorian of St . Joseph ’ s High School graduating class of 1961 . She attended Mt . Aloysius College and received a degree in Medical Records . She worked at many hospitals and nursing homes throughout New Jersey , Ohio , and N . Y . Retirement years brought Jeanne and Greg home to Hammonton . Lindsay ’ s Pick Your Own Blueberries was a labor of love . She loved interacting with the many people who came to the farm each year , some returning year after year and becoming friends . Though a traditional homemaker , she held strong to her feminist views and passed them on to her daughters . As the matriarch of the family , she was the keeper of traditions . As a testament to her strength , the family saying is , “ The problem with Jeanne is that she doesn ’ t know what she can ’ t do ”.
Predeceased by her parents , Charles and Jean Goins of Atco ; and her brother , Charles Patrick Goins , Jr . Beloved wife of Greg ( d 2013 ); Loving mother of Janis Duffy , Christine Sebastian , and Catherine Eastman ( Bill ) and grandmother of William , Sean and Daniel Duffy , Annabelle and Sarah Sebastian . Devoted sister to Dorothy Maradeo ( Matt ), Agnes Massara ( Jim ), and Catherine Brigandi ( Frank ). Also survived by her sisters and brothers in law , nieces , nephews , and cousins .

Nicholas C . Masi Jr .
Nicholas C . Masi Jr ., " Micky Finn ", 82 , of Hammonton passed away peacefully on Thursday , April 13 , 2023 , surrounded by his loving family at AtlantiCare Medical Center in Galloway Township .
He was born and raised in Hammonton . He was a 1959 graduate of St . Joseph ' s High School . He was a devoted husband , father , grandfather , brother and uncle . He was known for being a great mechanic , having worked for Ranere Chevrolet , Arena Buick and Kmart Auto Service . Most recently he worked for NAPA Auto Parts . As a young man he enjoyed the family traditions of cooking and wine making alongside his Uncle Sam Angello and Jim Raso . Nick was an avid deer hunter , a member of the 3H Deer Club and Atlantic County Farm Bureau . He loved gardening and shared the bounty of produce with family and neighbors . If he wasn ' t taking care of his garden or yard , you could find him at the neighbors , Melora Farms .
He was predeceased by his wife of 59 years , Judith A . ( Spangler ) Masi ; his parents , Nicholas C . and Mary ( Angello ) Masi ; and his sister , Rosemarie Marro . He is survived by three sons , Nicholas A . Masi , Steven Masi ( Karen ), and James Masi ( Sharon ); two grandchildren , Danielle N . Masi and Destiny Rose ; one brother , Anthony Masi ( Patricia ); and many nieces , nephews , cousins and friends .
A visitation will be held on Wednesday , April 19 , 2023 from 4 p . m . – 6 p . m . at the Carnesale Funeral Home , 202 S . Third Street in Hammonton , where funeral services will be held at 6 p . m .

Dorothy “ Dottie ” Puleo
Dorothy “ Dottie ” Puleo ( nee Regn ), 87 , of Hammonton , N . J . and formerly of Atco , N . J . passed away Friday , April 14 , 2023 .
Dorothy was born in Camden , N . J . and grew up in Atco , N . J . She graduated from Lower Camden County Regional High School in 1955 . Dottie loved to play bingo and was known for her pineapple upside-down cakes , going to and having yard sales . She started working in 1955 at A & P and retired after 44 years in 1999 from Super Fresh in Hammonton and she was a member of Local # 152 . Dottie was always helping her customers find a good bargain or giving recommendations of different products . She was also very active volunteering at the St . Vincent de Paul Food Pantry .
She is predeceased by her parents , Walter and Sophia ( nee Muza ) Regn ; and her brother , Walter Regn . She is survived by her husband of 66 years , Anthony J . “ Tony / Junior ” Puleo ; her daughter , Lisa Puleo ( Frank Vitagliano ) ( his children and grandchildren ). She is also survived by her special friend , Roberta “ Berta ” Franchetti . Dorothy will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews .

William Matthew Olive , 78 , of Hammonton , N . J . passed away Friday , April 14 , 2023 .
Bill was born in Hammonton and graduated from Hammonton High School in 1962 . He worked in shipping and receiving for W . B . Kessler Clothing for 15 years and retired after 29 years at Tropicana Casino as a Floor Supervisor . He was a eucharistic minister for the St . Mary of Mt . Carmel Parish and was the best Italian fingers player in Hammonton .
He is predeceased by his parents , Angelo and Angelina A . ( nee Calabria ) Olive ; and his son , Robert “ Bobby ” Olive . Bill is survived by his loving wife , Janice Olive ( nee Santilli ); son , William A . Olive ( Amanda ); brother , Angelo “ Sonny ” Olive ; sisters , Marie Olive and Patricia Perna ( Ralph ). He is the loving grandfather of Lilygrace , Damien , Zeppelin , November and Ever Olive . Daughter-in-law , Jeanne Olive .

Officer Richard Carpo responded and while arriving in the area , he could hear tires screeching and a loud engine revving from the intersection of Weymouth and S . Egg Harbor Roads , Friel said .
“ As he turned into a driveway on Reading Avenue , Officer Carpo activated his scene lighting and observed a green Ford Mustang adjacent to a residence with heavy smoke coming from the rear tires and heard the engine still revving ,” Friel said .
The driver was identified as Mauricio Ocampos-Vasquez , 24 , of Hammonton , Friel said .
