Police hires , promotions

HAMMONTON — During the March 27 meeting of town council , Hammonton Police Chief Kevin Friel announced four promotions and three hires .

HAMMONTON — For the second year in a row , The Hammonton Gazette was one of only 11 media companies nationwide recognized with an Honorable Mention under the 10 members of Editor & Publisher ( E & P ) Magazine ’ s “ 10 Publishers Who Do It Right .” The awards were announced in April on the E & P website and social media and articles about the award winners , including The Gazette , appear in the April edition of E & P Magazine . The Gazette was one of a select few winners to receive back-to-back appearances on the list .
