Macrie IV GAZETTE STAFF WRITER HAMMONTON—On April 5, local singer, musician, songwriter, teacher and music producer, Robin Gazzara, had a grand opening for her business called Robin Gazzara Music Studio. Gazzara has been a professional performer for seven years and has played with three different bands in a sixyear time period. She used her extensive background, to join with three others to formulate the expanded music studio, located on the second floor of the Antique Marketplace on Bellevue Avenue. The studio consists of three rooms: a vocal and guitar instruction area, a piano lesson area and a recording studio. “I never had a place like this to go. Especially, I have students who want to be singers and songwriters. If I had a place like this when I was 14 years old, I would have embraced it. I wanted a place for kids to come and learn and have an area where they can succeed. That is what my vision was for this,” Gazzara said. Gazzara will be teaching piano lessons to students of all ages. Charles Paul, a former director of choral music at Hammonton High School will be instructing individuals on vocals, while students interested in guitar playing will be educated by Dave Parkhurst. Local recording studio artist Mike Tait will help record music for students producing piano, guitar or vocal compositions.
