William H. DeCicco
William H. DeCicco, 72, of Hammonton died on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Virtua
Hospital in Voorhees.
Born in Hammonton, he was a lifelong resident. He worked as a heavy equipment sales-
man for Trico for more than 40 years and presently was working for Farm-Rite for the past
five years.
He is predeceased by his wife, Jeanette (nee Gorgo). Surviving are a son, William T.
(Kim) DeCicco and a granddaughter.
Funeral and interment were private.

Jeanette Giralo
Jeanette Giralo, (nee Totoro), 91, died peacefully in her home on
Thursday, March 28, 2019.
Born in Hammonton, she was a lifelong resident of the area. She
worked for a time as a clothing machine operator and later at Whitehall
Laboratories where she was affectionately known as “Sarg.” Giralo had
a passion for sports and could often be heard yelling at the TV during
Phillies and Eagles games and also when rooting on her favorite
wrestlers. In addition to doting on her grandsons she routinely enjoyed
trips to the casino and made a point of having her hair done at niece
Julie’s salon every Saturday morning. She was a member of the St. Rita
Society at St. Joseph’s Church.
She is predeceased by her husband, Anthony and her three brothers, Rooney, Joe and
Sam. She is survived by her son, Anthony and his wife Kim; her daughter, Carol and her
fiancé John Kelly; her two grandsons, Anthony and his wife Melissa and Vincent.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 in St. Mary of
Mount Carmel Parish, Church of St. Joseph’s in Hammonton, where a viewing was also
held. Burial followed in Greenmount Cemetery, Hammonton. In lieu of flowers memorial
donations may be made to St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, 226 French St., Hammonton,
NJ 08037.

Mary Lucille Lemons
Mary Lucille Lemons (nee Iuliucci), 89, of Vineland died on Tuesday,
March 26, 2019 at Inspira Medical Hospital in Vineland.
Born in Cedar Brook, she lived in Buena Vista Twp. before moving
to Vineland more than 15 years ago. Lemons worked as a waitress for
more than 40 years and the last 25 years at the Ramada Inn in Vineland.
She also worked as a machine operator for Modern Clothing Co. and
was a member of the Amalgamated Clothing workers of America.
Lemons is predeceased by her parents, Guiseppe and Maria Iuliucci;
husband, Pasquale and son, Patrick. Surviving are her loving son, Dennis
Lee Lemons (Kathleen) of Pittsgrove Twp.; five grandchildren and seven
great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A viewing was held on Monday, April 1 at the Marinella Funeral Home in Hammonton.
A Mass of Christian Burial was also held Monday at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish – St.
Joseph in Hammonton. Burial followed at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 124 S. First Rd.,
Hammonton.

Russell G.W. Schellhas
Russell G.W. Schellhas, 89, of Folsom died on Wednesday, March
27, 2019 at AtlantiCare Medical Center in Galloway Twp.
Born on October 29, 1929 in Folsom, he was a lifelong resident there.
Schellhas was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He worked as a
Union Carpenter for the Carpenter’s Union Local No. 393 of Camden.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he was a member of the Folsom
Hunting Club and the Hit or Miss Hunting Club.
He is survived by his wife, Augusta (Kalwite) Schellhas, three chil-
dren, Russell Schellhas, Bonnie Troemel, and Karen (Rob) Deuel ; six
grandchildren, Melanie Morlack, Jennifer (Josh) Robell, Tyler Schellhas,
Rachel (Bill) Fifer, Sarah (Neil) Campbell, Jason (Sara) Kaczmarski; six
great-grandchildren and one brother, Edward (Dorcas) Schellhas.
Viewings were held on Sunday, March 31, 2019 and Monday, April 1, 2019 at the Car-
nesale Funeral Home in Hammonton. Funeral services were held on Monday at St. James
Lutheran Church in Folsom. Burial followed at St. James Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Police make several arrests

Nicholas Linda, 26, of Ham-
monton, who was found to be in-
toxicated and very aggressive,
Friel said.
Linda was taken into custody
and charged with disorderly con-
duct, Friel said.
Officer Eric Pohl was the ar-
resting officer, Friel said.
• On March 27 at 7:06 a.m., the
police department received a call
of a subject lying on the side of
the roadway on the prime block of
S. Egg Harbor Road, Friel said.
Officers responded and found a
Salvador Sanchez, 51, of Atlantic
City, Friel said.
He was found to be highly in-
toxicated and was charged with
disorderly conduct, Friel said.
Sanchez was released when
sober and is awaiting a court date
at Hammonton Joint Municipal
Court, Friel said.
Pohl was the arresting officer,
Friel said.
• On March 27 at 8:36 p.m. fol-
lowing a pedestrian stop at the lo-
cation of S. Egg Harbor and
Bellevue Avenue, Tavon Vazquez,
28, of Hammonton was noted to
have outstanding warrants, in-
cluding a no bail warrant from the
Atlantic County Sheriff’s Office
and a $500 warrant from Winslow
Twp., Friel said
Vazquez was arrested and trans-
ported to the Atlantic County Jail,
Friel said.
Officer John Amendolia III was
the arresting officer, Friel said.
• On March 28 at 7:22 a.m. on
the 300 block of Fairview Avenue,
police responded to a call about a
theft from an auto, Friel said.
“The woman said she had her
car parked at her residence from 7
p.m. on March 27. She believed
she left the vehicle unlocked. She
went into her vehicle on the morn-
ing of March 28 and discovered
that someone had removed her
wallet,” Friel said.

• On March 30 at 7:41 a.m. on
Route 206 police responded to an
Emidio Sena
Emidio Sena, 78, of Hammonton died peacefully with his family by
his side.
Born in Luzzi, Italy, he came to the United States in 1957. Sena and
his brother owned and operated Bitzer Dry Cleaners in Doylestown, Pa.
He enjoyed going to the casinos, classic cars and listening to classical
music. He also loved interacting with family, friends and everyone he
met.
Sena is predeceased by his parents, Michael and Concetta Sena; sister,
Rosina Danesi and brother, Frank Sena. He is survived by his brother,
Mario Sena (Lorraine) of Huntersville, N.C. and sisters, Ida Iantorno of
Hammonton, Josephine (Pat) Iuliucci of Waterford and Anna (Frank)
Cuci of Hammonton. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday, April 5 from 9:30 to 11
a.m. with services at 11:30 a.m. at the Marinella Funeral Home, 102 N. Third St., Ham-
monton. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 124 S. First Rd., Hammonton. In
lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hammonton Cancer Foundation, PO Box

frey Danielwicz, 27, of Mt.
Ephraim was found to have a
clear plastic bag containing green
leafy vegetation believed to be
marijuana, Friel said.
“Officer Renzo Mendoza
smelled a strong odor of burnt
marijuana emanating from the ve-
hicle. He advised Mr. Danielwicz
that he smelled it. Mr. Danielwicz
said he had smoked earlier in the
morning. Mendoza inquired as to
whether there was anything left
inside the vehicle, and Mr. Daniel-
wicz advised that there was mari-
juana in the center console,” Friel
said.
Danielwicz was arrested and
charged with possession of mari-
juana under 50 grams, failure to
use a seat belt and possession of
controlled dangerous substance in
a motor vehicle, Friel said. He is
awaiting a court date in Hammon-
ton Joint Municipal Court, Friel
said.
Mendoza was the arresting of-
ficer, Friel said.
• On March 30 at 9:52 p.m. at
the corner of N. Second and Wood
Streets, Sgt. Jason Rigby stopped
a vehicle for speeding, expired
registration and failure to stop at
a posted stop sign, Friel said.
Oscar Tomas, 24, of Hammon-
ton, was operating the vehicle,
Friel said.
“Mr. Tomas was found to be op-
erating a vehicle under the influ-
ence, was arrested and was
charged with the following viola-
tions: driving while under the in-
fluence, speeding, failure to
inspect, failure to stop or yield,
open alcoholic beverage container
in a vehicle, unlicensed driver,
unregistered vehicle and reckless
driving,” Friel said.
Tomas was processed and re-
leased as per John’s Law and
pending a court appearance in
Hammonton Joint Municipal
Court, Friel said.
