side of the former Olivo’s Market soon, while
another business named Legion Vapor has recently opened also on Central avenue.
“The owner of the store led me to believe
he will be opening next week or two. i usually get involved with the signage end of it.
for instance, the signage already went up for
Legion Vapor,” iacovelli said.
Legion Vapor sells electronic cigarettes
and has vapor stations to test the different flavors offered, according to iacovelli.
a business called Behind the Moon is
opening within the next two weeks, and it
will be located next to el Mariachi Loco on
Bellevue avenue. according to owner
Brooke Sacco, she is planning on opening for
business no later than april 15.
“We are excited about that week in particular because it is the Third Thursday week
and the easter eggs-travaganza on that friday for the kids. it is definitely our target
week at the latest is april 15,” Sacco said.
Sacco said the store will offer gently-used
clothing and small accessories for babies and
children. The sizes will be for new born to six
years old.
“We will also be carrying new items for
that age range and accessories for the babies
themselves, parents and gift-type items. That
will be our ‘new product,’” she said.
as the parents shop at Sacco’s store, she
will have a small play area for the children to
keep them occupied. She is excited
about the location of her business in
the downtown area.
“i think it is a good spot and it is
wedged right in between Mary’s,
which will bring morning traffic and
el Mariachi will bring later, evening
traffic, especially in the summer. We
were happy when that spot opened.
it rushed us a little bit when it
opened. We weren’t really planning
on this happening so soon. We were
aiming towards the beginning of
summer, but when that spot opened
we thought we better take advantage
of it. There isn’t any other spot that
would have worked for us on Bellevue,” Sacco said.
in the uptown area, two major vacancies remain. The former Kessler
Memorial Hospital, located on the
White Horse Pike (route 30) has
started its transformation into a medical mall with notable renovations
taking place, as written in The
Gazette on March 5. The facility will
eventually occupy a surgical center
and medical offices, according to
Community Healthcare associates
(CHa) LLC Managing Partner e.

after purchasing the building
from the former Kessler Memorial
Hospital in 2011, the company has
been looking for potential tenants to
occupy the space. in the meantime,
Kirby said in his interview with The
