Andrew B . Chillari
Andrew B . Chillari , 62 , of Hammonton N . J ., went home to be with the Lord on Monday , March 21 , 2022 while surrounded by his family . Andy was the son of the late Sara ( née Calabrese ) and John P . Chillari Sr . He was also preceded in death by his sister , Rita Wentz . Survived by his wife , Martha ( née Cross ); his children , Andrew Jr . and Cianna ; his brother , John Jr ., ( Ginny ), Joe ( Claudia ), and his sister , Virginia Crane . Also survived by many nieces and nephews .
Andy graduated from Hammonton High School in 1977 . He worked for the casinos while attending A . C . C . C . to receive his associate degree in physical therapy . It was at this time he completed and won many body building competitions . Andy worked for Tender Touch at Complete Care in Cherry Hill . He loved sports and shared that passion by attending many events with the two loves of his life , his children . Andy also enjoyed working / training his German Shepard , Hercules .
Services were held on Saturday , March 26 , 2022 . In lieu of flowers , donations to Solid Rock Baptist Church at 420 S . White Horse Pike , Berlin NJ 08009 would be appreciated . Linda A . Raso
Linda A . Raso ( nee Duboff ), 72 , of Hammonton passed away peacefully with her family by her side at home on Sunday , March 27 , 2022 .
Linda was born in Philadelphia and she lived most of her life in the Hammonton area . Linda along with her husband James were the longtime owners of Raso Liquor Store in Hammonton . She enjoyed gardening , taking care of her flowers , playing cards , family game nights , Sunday dinner with her family and cheering on the Hammonton High School Blue Devils football team . She loved taking care of her family , especially her greatest gift of all her precious grandchildren .
She is predeceased by her parents , Alexander G . and Ola M . Duboff ; her brother , George A . Duboff ; and her brother-in-law , Challie Mascio .
She is survived by her husband , James Raso Jr .; three children , Denise Testa ( Lew ), James Raso III ( Georgiann ) and Gina Raso ; two sisters , Nancy Slemmer ( Jesse ) and Kathy Mascio ; one brother , Robert Duboff ( Judith ); her five grandchildren , Maya , Dylan , Lily , Alexa and James IV ; and her grand puppy , Coco Chanel .
A visitation will be held on Thursday , March 31 , 2022 from 9:30 a . m . to 11 a . m . at St . Mary of Mt . Carmel Parish Church of St . Joseph ’ s , 226 French Street in Hammonton , where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a . m . Burial will be private at the convenience of the family . In lieu of flowers , donations may be made to St . Jude ’ s Children ’ s Hospital , 501 St . Jude Place , Memphis , TN 38105-9959 .

Friel said Officer John Amendolia III observed a vehicle failing to maintain a lane of travel and failing to stop .
According to Friel , Eluver Ramirez-Verdugo , 30 , of Hammonton was found to be intoxicated , placed under arrest , transported to police headquarters for processing and charged with the following motor vehicle violations : Driving while under the influence , unsafe lane change , disregard of stop sign , reckless driving , open container of alcoholic beverage in a vehicle , consumption of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle , no seat belt , unlicensed driver , unregistered vehicle , careless driving , fictitious plates and failure to exhibit documents .
He was released as per John ’ s Law pending a court appearance in Hammonton Joint Municipal Court , Friel said .
Friel said Amendolia was the investigating , arresting and charging officer .
• On March 26 at 3:13 a . m . on the 300 block of S . White Horse Pike ( Route 30 ), Officer Dalton Scola witnessed a vehicle failing to maintain a lane of travel , Friel said .
The vehicle was operated by Charles Larkey , 39 , of Malaga , Friel said . Larkey was placed under arrest , transported to police headquarters for processing and charged with the following motor vehicle violations : driving while under the influence , careless driving , reckless driving , open container of alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle and failure to maintain lane of travel , Friel said .
Larkey was released as per John ’ s Law pending a court appearance in Hammonton Joint Municipal Court , Friel said .
Friel said Scola was the investigating , arresting and charging officer .
• On March 27 at 3:52 a . m ., a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of 12th Street and West End Avenue became a DWI arrest , Friel said .
Officer Dalton Scola observed a vehicle failing to maintain its lane of travel and failing to stop , Friel said .
The driver of the vehicle , Cristobal Carranza-Lopez , 25 , of Hammonton was found to be operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol , Friel said .
Friel said Carranza-Lopez was placed under arrest , transported to police headquarters for processing and charged with the following motor vehicle violations :
