The Reverend John M . Fleming
The reverend John M . fleming , 87 , retired Catholic Priest for the Diocese of Camden passed away Saturday , March 19 , 2022 .
Born in Newark on July 17 , 1934 to Thomas and Alice ( nee Ewart ) fleming , father fleming attended Our Lady of Good Counsel Schools in Newark . He also attended Seton Hall University , St . francis College , St . Maur ’ s Seminary , Western State University and LaSalle University . father fleming was ordained by His Excellency , The Most reverend Celestine J . Damiano Archbishop of Camden on May 27 , 1961 . father fleming first served in St . Lawrence in Lindenwold , and at St . rose of Lima in Newfield , Our Lady of Victories in Landisville , Andrew the Apostle in Gibbsboro , St . Anthony of Padua in Hammonton , and many other parishes . father fleming retired on November 1 , 2008 . father fleming was also active in the communities he served . He served as founder and chief of 664 fire Department in Voorhees , the National Board of St . Vincent DePaul Society , Tefap Coordinator for the Dept . of Agriculture , Chaplain to Kessler Memorial Hospital and St . Mary ’ s Nursing Home and Manor . father fleming is predeceased by his parents , Thomas and Alice and his siblings , Thomas , Mary , Theresa and Anna . He is survived by his extended family . relatives and friends were invited to his viewing and Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Most reverend Dennis J . Sullivan , Bishop of Camden . Burial was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery , Berlin , N . J .

Mary Ruberton
Mary ruberton , ( nee Donio ), 93 , of Hammonton passed away peacefully on Sunday , March 21 , 2022 with her loving daughters by her side .
Born in Stratford , N . J . she was a lifelong Hammonton resident . Mary was a retired clerk for the Town of Hammonton tax office . She enjoyed cooking and “ made the best meatballs .” Mary endeared herself to all and her effervescent personality was loved by those who knew her .
She is predeceased by her husband , Louis ruberton ; her sister , Helen Macrie ; and her brother , Anthony “ TD ” Donio .
Mary is survived by her daughters , Mary Lou ruberton of Hammonton and Lisa Ann Moore and son-in-law Brian of Alexandria , Va .
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated friday , March 25 , 2022 , 11 a . m . in St . Mary of Mt . Carmel Parish , Church of St . Anthony of Padua , 285 route 206 , Hammonton where a visitation will be held at 10 a . m . until 11 a . m . Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery . in lieu of flowers , donations in Mary ’ s name may be made to the St . POLICE , from Page 1 2020 Toyota 4runner was traveling westbound at a high rate of speed , friel said . friel said the 4runner impacted the rear driver ’ s side tire of vehicle number two , a blue 2015 Jeep and then vehicle number two impacted with vehicle number three , a black 2021 Honda Hr-V which was stopped at Basin road for a school bus . Vehicle number three then impacted the rear bumper portion of vehicle number four , a silver 2012 Jeep Liberty , which was also stopped for the school bus , friel said .
The driver of vehicle number one and vehicle number three were transported to AtlantiCare Mainland for treatment of injuries , friel said .
A report with charges was pending at the time of the interview on Monday morning , friel said .
Police made a number of warrant arrests last week , including the following , friel said .
• On March 14 at 1:05 p . m ., a warrant arrest was made at the intersection of railroad Avenue and 12th Street , friel said .
Officer Christopher Henshaw observed Antonio Quintero , 38 , of Hammonton , who was known to have an NCiC warrant , friel said .
Quintero was found to have two active NCiC warrants , one from Burlington County and one from Atlantic County , friel said . friel said that while he was in custody , Quintero had a medical emergency and was transported to AtlantiCare City Division , prior to being transported to the Atlantic County Jail .

4-car crash at WHP , Basin Road

HAMMONTON — A man was arrested and charged after his vehicle struck three parked cars on the 300 block of S . Third Street at 10:44 p . m . on March 5 , Hammonton Police Chief Kevin friel said .
Officer Casey Hendrickson responded to a motor vehicle crash in which the driver , Pascual
Henshaw was the investigating and arresting officer , friel said .
• On March 16 at 6:02 p . m . at the location of route 206 and Basin road , a motor vehicle stop became a warrant arrest , friel said .
Officer richard Carpo stopped a vehicle for making an illegal lefthand turn onto route 206 from the White Horse Pike ( route 30 ), friel said . Luke Krasowski , 42 , of Landisville , was found to be driving while suspended , unlicensed driver and having four warrants , including two traffic warrants and two criminal warrants , friel said .
He was placed under arrest , transported to police headquarters and then was transported to be lodged in the Atlantic County Jail , friel said .

Arrest made after parked cars struck
Perez-Baltazar , 19 , of Hammonton had struck three parked vehicles as he was traveling east on S . Third Street , friel said .
Perez-Baltazar was transported to AtlantiCare Atlantic City for treatment of a head injury , friel said .
He was charged with the following motor vehicle charges , friel said : driving while under the influence , operating a motor vehicle while consuming alcohol underage , reckless driving , open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle , careless driving , failure to wear seat belt , unlicensed driver and uninsured vehicle , friel said . friel said Hendrickson was the arresting and charging officer .
This report is comprised of arrests and investigations made by the men and women of local enforcement . All suspects and arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law .
