“ We have the brochures modified because we have an audio portion that was enabled by a grant that we got from Atlantic County and we have new photographs that have been taken or contributed by Mazzeo Studios and they will move on to Stockton and Stockton ’ s IT department is going to revise the online version of the historic walking tour to include audio and additional photographs ,” Christine McCullough said at the meeting .
Once the brochures are finalized , they will go to all of the kiosks on the Garden State Parkway , New Jersey Turnpike , Atlantic City Expressway as well as hotels and casinos in Atlantic City and will be in the kiosks from April until the end of Sept .
In terms of the grant by the Atlantic County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs , the last $ 900 of the grant did not come in yet and the committee is working to receive the remaining money of the grant .
The commission is currently looking to diversify their group as their goal is to make the commission more inclusionary and to include minorities in Hammonton . They have discussed reaching out to a few residents to join the committee .
To conclude the meeting , the commission is finalizing dates for meetings for the months of October , November and December to work around the scheduling conflicts of the Halloween , Thanksgiving and Christmas parades . The dates for the October and November meetings will be on October 30 and November 30 and for the December meeting , Donio said she will meet with Denise Mazzeo to discuss what dates are available in December for the commission to hold their December 2023 meeting .
