Frank T. Zuber Sr.
Frank T. Zuber Sr., 77, of W. Collingswood Heights, died on February
26, 2019.
He was the beloved husband of Marie Zuber (nee Siciliano) and de-
voted father of Tracy Zuber-Kerr (Joseph), Anthony Zuber (Dawn) and
Frank Zuber, Jr. (Barb). He was also the loving p-pop of Madison, Hay-
den, Brian, Sean, Logan, Mikala, Louis and Mason. He was the dear
brother of Tina Boccuto, Bill Zuber (Elaine), Clement Zuber (Barbara),
Joseph Zuber (Dorothy), Rita Pusey (Winnin), Robert Zuber (Maxine)
and the late Edwina Bratcher and Edward Zuber. He is also survived by
many nieces and nephews.
A visitation was held Friday, March 1 at Gardner Funeral Home in
Runnemede, followed by a memorial service. Interment was private at the request of the
family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank’s name to the charity of the
donor’s choice.

Anthony Michael DiMeglio Jr.
Anthony Michael DiMeglio Jr. died peacefully at home on March 1,
2019 with his loving family by his side.
Born in Elm, he and his wife of 63 years, Angelina (Mortellite), lived
happily, surrounded by family. DiMeglio was the president of Garden
State Packing Company, president and chief for more than 20 years of
the Elm Volunteer Fire Department (he was one of the founding mem-
bers). He headed a delegation to Europe for the North American Blue-
berry Council, was commissioner of the Camden County Parks, a
member of the Kiwanis Club (Winslow Twp.), Lions Club (Winslow
Twp.) and the Republican Club. He was a trustee for the Atco Savings
and Loan. He enjoyed movie nights with family and friends, and family
dinners on Sundays. He loved playing music on his iPod for anyone who would listen. He
enjoyed many nights with his wife at the Tropicana in Atlantic City, where everyone knew
his name from the valets to the servers. After retirement, he spent winters in Del Ray Beach,
Fla., with his wife and many friends. He enjoyed gathering with his friends at social events
where he played all his favorite music and enjoyed coffee every day at Panera’s. Above all
else, he was a generous man, whose favorite part of life was giving to others.
He is predeceased by his parents, Anthony Sr. and Stella DiMeglio of Atco. He is sur-
vived by his wife, Angelina; brother, Michael (Carol); his four children, Anthony III
(Lynda), Robert (June), Jacqueline (Robert) Cappuccio and David (Nancy); his twelve
grandchildren, Nicolette (Craig) Behm, Danielle (Gray) Shannahan, Kailee (Tim) Shields,
Gina (Matt) Silvesti, Robert (Stef) DiMeglio Jr., Richard and Gabrielle DiMeglio, Melissa
(Christopher) Yearicks, Robert (Danielle) Cappuccio, David Jr., Matthew and Brandon
DiMeglio; his five great-grandchildren, Avery and Madeleine Behm, Mallory Yearicks,
Graham Shannanhan and Christopher Silvesti.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, March
7 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, St. Joseph Church, 226 French St., Ham-
monton. Visitation will take place prior to Mass from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers,
please make a donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis,
TN 38148-0142.

John F. “Boogie” Monzo Jr.
John F. “Boogie” Monzo Jr., 90, of Hammonton, died peacefully on
Friday, March 1, 2019 at the Powerback Rehabilitation Center in
Voorhees Twp.
Monzo was born in Waterford and lived in Hammonton most of his
life. He retired from Owens Corning in Berlin in 1988 after more than
30 years of service and went on to work for the Hammonton Board of
Education, retiring in 1999. He served in the U.S. Army during the Ko-
rean War.
He is predeceased by his wife, Phyllis (nee Petruzzi); parents, John
and Jennie Monzo and sisters, Marie Mazzagatti (Joe) and Anna Arm-
priester.
He is the beloved father of Lee Ann Monzo of Hammonton; dear uncle of Joseph Maz-
zagatti (Debbie), Joann Pino (Sam), Lenny Sigman (Debbie), John, Wayne and Donna Sig-
man and several great nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday, March 8, from 10 to
11:30 a.m. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel – St. Joseph Church, with a Mass of Christian Burial
at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery, 124 S. First Rd., Hammonton.
Donations may be sent in Monzo’s name to the National M.S. Society of Great Delaware,
30 South 17th St. # 800, Philadelphia, PA 19103.

Hammonton Police makes local arrests

Myers was released when sober
as per John’s Law, Jones said. Of-
ficer Renzo Mendoza was the ar-
resting officer, Jones said.
• On March 3 at 10:22 p.m.,
Myers was arrested again follow-
ing a minor motor vehicle acci-
dent at Railroad Avenue near the
intersection of E. Orchard and a
disturbance and became disor-
derly, Jones said.
Police were advised by the
other individual at the scene that
Myers had a knife on his person,
Jones said.
Myers was arrested and charged
with possession of a weapon for
unlawful purposes, terroristic
threats, criminal mischief, driving
while under the influence, reck-
less driving, careless driving, fail-
ure to exhibit document,
uninsured motorist, leaving the
scene of the accident and open
container of alcohol in a motor ve-
hicle, Jones said.
He was lodged in the Atlantic
County Jail pending a court date,
Jones said.

Mascio, 41, of the 300 block of S.
Ruth DiMeo
Ruth DiMeo (nee Persico), 88, of Hammonton died on Tuesday, Feb-
ruary 26, 2019 at AtlantiCare Hospital in Atlantic City.
She was born and raised in Hammonton and graduated from Ham-
monton High School, class of 1948. DiMeo was an Elder at The Pres-
byterian Church of Hammonton and a member of the Jersey Girls. She
was also very active on the family farm and a great homemaker and cook.
She loved her garden and was an avid reader.
She is predeceased by her husband, William A. DiMeo; parents, Rene
and Almeda Persico and brother, Donald. Surviving are her children,
William A. DiMeo, Jr. and his wife Paulette of Hammonton, Ann DiMeo
of Mays Landing and Linda DiMeo of Egg Harbor Twp. She was the
loving grandmother of William A. DiMeo, III.
A church visitation was held Friday, March 1 with services following at Presbyterian
Church of Hammonton. Burial was private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flow-
ers donations may be made to the Hammonton Presbyterian Church, 326 Bellevue Avenue,
Hammonton.

Mary Joanne Myers
Mary Joanne Myers (nee Walter), 74, died on Thursday February 28,
2019 at the Royal Suites Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Gal-
loway.
Born in Camden, Myers was a longtime resident of Collings Lakes.
She worked as a clerk/typist for the Employment Dept. for the State of
NJ in Vineland. She was a member and Eucharistic Minister at the Our
Lady of the Lakes Church, member of the Catholic Daughters of Amer-
ica, Legion of Mary and was a Girl Scout leader. She enjoyed travelling,
going to the beach and dancing.
She is predeceased by her daughter, Lori A. Myers. Surviving are her
daughters, Dawn (Michael) Fountas and Hope (Steve) Ammirato; her
son, William A. (Nancy) Myers Jr.; sister, Donna Aleknavage and grandchildren, Nicholas
(Ryann), Michael, Zachary, Missy, Arden, Emily, Elizabeth and Billy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, March
9, 2019 at 2 p.m. with a viewing from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the Our Lady of the Lakes Church,
19 Malaga Rd., Collings Lakes. Interment will follow at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery,
Hammonton.

Barrington and Camden totaling
$2,700, Jones said.
Camden County cleared a re-
lease on his own recognizance
warrant for Melendez, Jones said.
Officer Kyle Ambrozaitis was
the arresting officer, Jones said.

Henry Fladger,
83, of Hammonton
died on Thursday,
February 28, 2019
in AtlantiCare Re-
gional

Center Mainland
Division.
Born
in
Somerville, S.C., to
the late Henry and
Louise Fladger, he
lived in the South
Jersey area for many years. He was a self-
employed construction worker.
Fladger is survived by his sons, Albert
Fladger, Edward Fladger and Darryl
Fladger; his daughters, Ednalynn Fladger,
Delinda Fladger, Cheryl Graham and
Rosemary Edelen; 30 grandchildren and
blessed with many great grandchildren as
well.
Funeral services will be held on Thurs-
day, March 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the
Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St.,
Hammonton, where a viewing will be
held from 10 until 11 a.m. Burial will fol-
low in Greenmount Cemetery, Hammon-
ton.
