She was born in Pittston , Pa . and graduated from Pittston High School in 1941 . Her family moved to Hammonton in 1948 . isabel worked for Ubia Sportswear in Hammonton , the Hammonton Nutrition Center along with waitressing at the Hammonton Ponderosa restaurant for many years .
She is predeceased by her parents , Domenic and Catherine Occhiato ; husband , Louis K . Bertino ; son , Louis Bertino ; and sisters , Catherine restuccio , Minnie restuccio and angie Delrossi .
Surviving are her two daughters , Maria Brita and her husband edward of Mays Landing , N . J . and Lucille apalucci and her husband Michael of Hammonton , N . J .; grandchildren , edward Brita ( Mandee ), Michael apalucci ( Kelsey ), Louis apalucci and Kendal apalucci ( Paul Pellegrino ); and great-grandchildren antonio and Bella Brita , Michael and DJ apalucci . family and friends attended her viewing on february 23 , 2021 from 7 p . m . to 9 p . m . at the Marinella funeral Home 102 N . third St . eileen a . Paretti ( nee Battaglia ), 74 , of Waterford Works , N . J . died peacefully on Sunday , february 21 , 2021 at her home .
She was born and raised in Hammonton and grew up working on her family ’ s farm , White Horse farms , with her parents Joseph and anna and her sister , Joanne . She graduated from St . Joseph High School in 1964 and received her bachelor ’ s degree from Glassboro State College in 1968 . Her teaching career started in texas and later at Hammonton elementary School . as a member of St . anthony Church she sang in the choir and was a member of the Hammonton Women ’ s Civic Club .
She is predeceased by her husband , Oliviero “ Olly ” Paretti and parents , Joseph and anna Battaglia .
Surviving are her children , Jefrey and his wife Paula of Winslow twp . N . J ., Lori Defeo and her husband frank Jr . of Dorothy , N . J . and David Paretti and his wife Jennifer of Waterford Works , N . J .; one sister , Joanne Wiessner and her husband John of Hammonton , N . Patricia Hilda Hobbs
Patricia Hilda Hobbs ( nee Miller ), 79 , of Hammonton died peacefully on tuesday , february 16 , 2021 at home with her daughter and granddaughter by her side .
Pat was born and raised in Linden , N . J ., and she graduated from Linden High School in 1959 . She moved to Holly ridge , N . C . in 1995 with her husband , Joseph Hobbs , before moving to Hammonton in 2004 . She worked as a secretary for New York Life insurance Company in Menlo Park , N . J . She enjoyed decorating her home with Country folk art , doing yardwork , spending time with her family and pets , square dancing and horseback riding .
Patricia is predeceased by her husband , Joseph Dill Hobbs and her parents , Maxwell Harry Miller and elsie Miller ( nee Lucks ).
Surviving are her loving daughter , Jodi r . Hobbs and granddaughter , Kaitlyn r . Frederick A . DeClement Jr . M . D . frederick a . DeClement Jr . M . D ., 87 , of Pitman N . J . died on Wednesday , february 17 , 2021 at his home surrounded by his family .
Born in 1933 , he was raised in Hammonton , N . J . after graduating Hammonton High School and briefly attending Georgetown University , fred enlisted in the United States Navy and served as a Corpsman . after being honorably discharged from the Navy , fred attended and graduated from Saint Bonaventure University in Olean , N . Y . He was on summer break from college working as a technician in Newcomb Hospital in Vineland , N . J ., when he met Joan Goldenberg who was a nurse at the hospital . after graduating from Saint Bonaventure he attended and graduated from Seton Hall College of Medicine and Dentistry in Jersey City , N . J . fred completed his surgical training at Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia where he became interested in the treatment of burn injuries . His interest grew into a passion for burn care which eventually drew him to St . agnes Hospital in Philadelphia . While at St . agnes , Dr . DeClement became a pioneer in the area of burn care and the driving force behind the establishment of Philadelphia ’ s first adult burn center in 1974 . During his long career , he attained numerous accomplishments and achievements ; however , he took the greatest pleasure and pride in his training of hundreds of young doctors in the treatment and care of burn injuries at the St . agnes Burn Center . fred is predeceased by his wife of 50 years , Joan ( nee Goldenberg ); his brother , Gerald ; and sisters-in-law , regina ( DeClement ) and frances ( Hinman ).
Surviving are his son , David and daughter-in- law Stacy ( Campbell ) and grandchildren Grant and Mallory ; his son , Daniel and daughter- in- law Kari ( Matz ) and grandchildren elizabeth , emily , anabelle and Christopher . He will be missed by his cat who was also named frederick . He is also survived by his nephew , frederick and nieces , Lisa , regina and Kathleen as well as numerous cousins . a viewing will be held Wednesday , february 24 , 2021 from 6 p . m . to 8 p . m . and thursday , february 25 , 2021 from 10 a . m . to 11 a . m . at Kelley funeral Home , 125 Pitman ave ., Pitman , N . Nerissa Natividad , 50 , of Hammonton died on tuesday , february , 16 , 2021 at atlantiCare Medical Center in Galloway twp .
Born in Lagawe , ifugao , Philippines she has lived in Hammonton since 2007 . She worked as a charge nurse registered nurse at ancora Psychiatric Hospital . She enjoyed gardening , taking care of her house plants and vacationing with her family .
Surviving are her four children , Bryan Maspono , reigner Maspono , Joseph allen and richard allen all of Hammonton ; and her siblings , Lolita Natividad Micu , Maria editha Natividad Lim , Gaudencio Natividad , Haydee Natividad and isagani Natividad . a viewing was held on february 19 , 2021 from 6 p . m . to 8 p . m . at the Carnesale funeral Home , 202 S . third Street in Hammonton . a Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on february 20 , 2021 at 9 a . m . at St . On february 12 , 2021 the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ( CDC ) released additional guidance for reopening of schools . according to the CDC , “ Universal and correct use of masks , should be required for all students , teachers and staff , and physical distancing of at least six feet between people with cohorting or podding of students to minimize exposure across the school environment .”
“ this guidance is consistent with our reopening plan that was implemented to open schools in September while other districts remain closed since March ,” Chieco said .
With six feet of social distancing , classrooms can hold 12 students on average , she said . according to Chieco , the reasoning behind the six feet of social distancing is to limit the exposure of individuals related to close contacts , someone who is within six feet of someone infected with COViD-19 for 15 or more minutes during a 24-hour period .
