Catherine D . Richards

Catherine D . Richards , 81 , of Glenolden , Pa ., passed away Tuesday , February 7 , 2023 in Taylor Hospital in Ridley Park . Born in Philadelphia , Pa . she was a lifelong area resident . Catherine was a legal secretary in the Public Defender ' s Office in Delaware County , Pa . from 2001 until her retirement in 2019 . She was a Graduate of Notre Dame High School in Moylan , Pa . Catherine was a longtime member of Our Lady of Fatima RC Church ; she was also a member of the American Cancer Society .
She was predeceased by her parents , Joseph and Dorothy ( nee Doyle ) Regan ; and her sister , Jean Loftus and brother-in-law Thomas Loftus . Catherine is survived by her niece and Goddaughter , Kathy Mento ; her husband , Sam ; their children , Sarah and Sam ; her nephew , Tom Loftus and his wife Traci and their children , Ryan , TJ and Megan and her niece Jeanne DeNucci .

Agatha E . Cappuccio

Agatha E . Cappuccio , 98 , of Hammonton , N . J ., passed away peacefully Monday February 13 , 2023 at home . She was born in South Egg Harbor , N . J ., graduated from Egg Harbor City HS and later attended secretarial school in Atlantic City . After waiting for him for 3 years during WWII , Aggie married George Cappuccio in 1945 , after the war , and lived in Hammonton ever since . They enjoyed a long and loving marriage for 77 years . She worked as a legal secretary for John Bertman and for the State of N . J . for many years . She also did volunteer work for St . Joseph ' s church . Agatha loved family gatherings and enjoyed many lifelong friendships . She and George were very active and loved ballroom dancing , country line dancing and playing cards .
Aggie is predeceased by her parents , Dalmazio and Maria Gladina
( Marzo ) Filo ; one sister , two brothers and her grandson Matthew Wallace . She is survived by her husband , George Cappuccio Sr .; sons , George Cappuccio Jr . ( Rebecca ) and Dan Cappuccio ( Barbara ); her daughters , Jean Dougherty ( Larry ) and Diane Wallace ( Bob ). Loving grandmother of Melanie Wallace Boffa , George Cappuccio III , Mark Cappuccio , Christopher Dougherty , Anna Dougherty , and great grandmother to Wesley and Reed Cappuccio .
Relatives and friends were invited to attend her viewing Friday February 17 , 2023 11 a . m . – 12:30 p . m . followed by a funeral service , at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N . Third St . Edith Triboletti ( nee Drostle )

Edith Triboletti ( nee Drostle ), 94 , of Hammonton , N . J ., passed away peacefully on February 17 , 2023 . She was born on January 10 , 1929 in London , England to Frederick and Winifred ( nee Wilcox ) Drostle , the fourth of five children . Edie met Leon , who would become her husband , in London , where he served as an Army Corporal . She came back with him to Hammonton in 1952 , where they would spend the next 42 years , raising their three sons , and later their grandchildren . Edie quickly mastered the art of Italian cooking ; her lasagna was a family favorite . She also incorporated her native cooking ; treating the family to Yorkshire pudding and Sheppard ’ s pie . She enjoyed crafting , sewing and playing card games with her friends . Anyone who stopped by her home was sure to be offered a perfect British cup of tea at her kitchen table , surrounded by beautiful and flourishing house plants . Her green thumb was also on display in her flower beds , in which she creatively combined vibrant colors and a variety of textures . In fact , her gardening was featured in the Hammonton News ! But most of all , Edie was dedicated to her family and especially treasured time with her grandchildren .
Edie was predeceased by her husband , Leon ; her son , Leon ; and her siblings . She is survived by her sons , Fred ( Mary ) and Dave ( Maria ); her daughter-in-law , Lilletta Fasano ; her grandchildren , Faith Raudabaugh ( Brad ), Mark ( Jessica ) Triboletti , and Andrea Triboletti ; her step-grandchildren , Tony Fasano , Estelle , Allison , and Charlene Salva ; and her great grandchildren Lily , Jacob , and James Raudabaugh , and Leo and Frances Triboletti .
Visitation will be held on Thursday , February 23 , beginning at 10 a . m . at Marinella Funeral Home , Hammonton , N . J . A Celebration of Life service will commence at 11 a . m . and burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery , 500 N . White Horse Pike , Hammonton , N . J . Antoinette “ Annette ” Hummel

Antoinette “ Annette ” Hummel ( nee Cincotti ), 81 , of Hammonton , N . J . passed away suddenly Saturday February 11 , 2023 . Annette was born and raised in McKee City , N . J . She married the love of her life George F . Hummel sixty-two years ago . It was then that she moved to Hammonton to start her family . She worked for White Hall Labs in Hammonton for over 10 years , served as a Hammonton School Aide and retired from Stockton University after working over 14 years .
Annette is predeceased by her parents , Carmen and Anna Cincotti . She is survived by her loving husband , George F . Hummel ; her children , George Hummel ( Rhonda ), Annette , and Bernadette Norton ( Nick ); her brothers and sisters , Anthony Cincotti , Joseph Cincotti ( Joanne ), Marlene , Joanne and Frances ( Danny ) Cincotti . She will be sorely missed by her grandchildren , Steven , Scott ( Victoria ) and Bryan Hummel , Nicolette ,
Isabella , Drusillia and Nadia Norton .

David Butler

David Butler , 85 , of Hammonton , N . J . passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 15 , 2023 at his home in Roseville , Calif . Born in Philadelphia , he lived in Folsom and Hammonton for almost 50 years . David was a USPS mail carrier for over 30 years and an avid golfer and tennis player . He also enjoyed spending time with his friends , especially at the Hammonton Canoe Club , where he played many pinochle games .
David is predeceased by his parents , Bernard Butler and Olga Colapinto ; and his beloved wife and partner for 30 years , Diane Butler ( nee DelGiorno ). He is survived by his children , Danielle Noto ( nee Doughtery ) of Hammonton , N . J . and Jennifer Butler ( Ben Jungjareon ) of Roseville , Calif . Dear brother of Carol Ann Laverty ( Tom ) of West Deptford , N . J . and loving grandfather of Nicholas , Victoria , Stella and Emilia .

Twenty-three non-profits were re-granted a total of $ 199,500 through the New Jersey State Council on the Arts . Local grant awardees include :
• Eagle Theatre received $ 19,100 ( GOS )
• Hammonton Arts Center received $ 7,500 ( GPS )
• MainStreet Hammonton received $ 8,800 ( GPS )
GOS = General Operating Support ( Max request $ 20K ) and GPS = General Programming Support ( Max request $ 10K )
Four non-profits were re-granted a total of $ 12,816 through the New Jersey State Historical Commission . Local grantee :
• Historical Society of Hammonton received $ 5,416 ( SP )
SP = Special Project ( Max request $ 6,500 )
The Atlantic County Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs is accepting a second round of 2023 grant applications for the County Historical Partnership Program , offered through the New Jersey Historical Commission . Non-profit organizations are encouraged to apply . The deadline for submissions is Friday , March 24 , 2023 .
