DeMarco, a former town councilman, school board member and farmer, passed away on february 8 at the age of 94. He was a lifelong resident of Hammonton and many former councilman, school board member was 94 of his immediate and extended family live in the area. they were part of the large number of people who attended his services at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish’s St. anthony Church on february 13. DeMarco owned DadSon farms on Pleasant Mills road in Hammonton, a business that he and his father founded. He was recognized for his agricultural achievement early in his career and earned the Outstanding Young farmer award in 1955. in addition to his work on the farm, he spent many years serving his community through elected office.
