Dr. Stephen E. Streitfeld, OD
Dr. Stephen E. Streitfeld, OD, 68, of Hammonton died on Monday,
February 3, 2020 at the Samaritan Hospice Center in Voorhees.
Born in Atlantic City, he was a lifelong resident of Hammonton, and a
graduate of Hammonton High School Class of 1969. Steve graduated in
1973 with a Bachelor of Science degree from Fairleigh Dickinson Uni-
versity, and in 1978 with a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Penn-
sylvania College of Optometry. Steve practiced optometry in
Hammonton with his dad, Leonard, for 35 years at Streitfeld Eye Asso-
ciates before joining the Visionworks team in Mays Landing, where he
continued to practice until August of 2019. His greatest joy was spending
time with his four grandchildren, Carlena, Colin, Audrey and Arden. He
also spent many hours birding and taking beautiful photographs of owls, eagles, backyard
birds and, most importantly, his family. For 40 years, he was an active member of the Ham-
monton Lions Club, holding many offices and receiving a number of distinguished awards
for his service.
Steve is predeceased by his parents, Dr. Leonard and Mary Streitfeld. He is survived by
his wife, Andrea Streitfeld; two children, Bryan Streitfeld (Jennifer) and Lauren Wilson
(Jon); one brother, Rick Streitfeld; one sister, Linda Johnson (Stephen), his four grandchil-
dren and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation was held on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at the Carnesale Funeral Home, Ham-
monton, where Lions Club services were held followed by family eulogies. In lieu of flowers
donations may be made to the Town of Hammonton Clock Committee, PO Box 678, Ham-
monton, NJ 08037.

Dolly Rose Alliano Chappine
Dolly Rose Alliano Chappine, 95, of Hammonton died peacefully on
February 6, 2020 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, N.J.
Dolly was born in Minotola, N.J., on October 11, 1924. She grew up
in Rosedale and raised her family in Hammonton. She served her com-
munity by volunteering countless hours working for the Hammonton Po-
lice Department as a crossing guard for the schools, a volunteer at Kessler
Memorial Hospital as the gift shop director (37,000 hours over the span
of 45 years), as well as serving on the executive board of the Parent Teach-
ers Association. Dolly loved her bus trips to the casinos in Atlantic City
where she enjoyed playing electronic poker.
She is predeceased by her husbands, Joseph Alliano and Johnny Chap-
pine and her daughter, Cheryl Alliano. Surviving are her children, Kathleen Alliano Stein-
hauser of Galloway Twp., John Alliano (Cile) of Lyman, S.C., Joseph Alliano of
Hammonton, Richard Alliano (JoAnne) of Fort Meyers, Fla., and Jackie Alliano Rodio (Bob)
of Oceanport, N.J. She has eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A visitation was held Tuesday, February 11, at the Carnesale Funeral Home, Hammonton,
followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of Saint
Joseph’s, Hammonton. Burial followed at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton. In lieu of

Jean Camp
Jean Camp (nee Wilkinson), 88, of Hammonton died peacefully at
home with her family by her side.
She was born and raised in Northfield and lived in Linwood for many
years before moving to Hammonton in 2018. Jean graduated from Pleas-
antville High School in 1949. She held many jobs, including a cosme-
tologist and a receptionist position for Dr. George Slotoroff and Dr. Robert
Holzin in Pleasantville. Family was very important and she cared for
many family members. Not one to sit around and be idle, you could find
her cooking, sewing, knitting and crocheting. Jean loved entertaining and
socializing with friends and family. She served for several years on the
Election Board of Atlantic County.
She is predeceased by her husband, Walter Camp; parents, James and Anna Wilkinson;
brothers, James, Joe, Henry, William, Robert and Albert Wilkinson and sisters, Anna Hill,
Rita Nichols, Mary Wilkinson and Doris Stegen. Surviving are her daughter, Donna J. Curcio
and her husband Samuel, Jr. of Hammonton; her brother, Andrew Wilkinson and his wife
Sue of Egg Harbor Twp. She is the loving grandmother of two grandsons, Samuel Curcio
(Michelle) and Charles Curcio (Caitlin) and two great-grandsons, Samuel Walter Curcio
and Anthony Michael Curcio.
A viewing was held Saturday, February 8 at the Marinella Funeral Home, and Mass of
Christian Burial was also held Saturday, February 8 at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish – St.
Joseph Church, Hammonton. Burial took place in Atlantic City Cemetery, 555 West Black
Horse Pike, Pleasantville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jean’s memory to
Angelic Health, 8025 Black Horse Pike Suite 501, West Atlantic City, NJ 08232.

Devon Ann DeMarco Gibson
Devon Ann DeMarco Gibson died suddenly on Saturday, February 1,
2020.
Devon loved growing up in Hammonton and graduated from Ham-
monton High School class of 2001. She was a member of National Honor
Society and co-captain of the high school field hockey team her senior
year. For the past three-and-a-half years, Devon and her family lived in
Laurel, Maryland.
Devon was the oldest child of Frances and Medio DeMarco. She was
a loving sister to her brother, Medio James and her sister, Sierra Rose.
She is survived by her loving husband, Seth Gibson and her beautiful son,
Garrett.
A Mass will be held to celebrate Devon’s life on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at St. An-
thony of Padua Church located on Route 206 in Hammonton. Family and friends are invited
to visitation from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. followed by a Mass at 10 a.m.
Kathleen A. Flannery
Kathleen A. Flannery (nee Buckley), 71, of Collings Lakes died peace-
fully on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at the Samaritan House in Voorhees.
Kathy was born in Camden, and lived in the South Jersey area all her
life. She graduated from nursing school and went on to have work in the
Pediatric Department as West Jersey Hospital in Camden. After her re-
tirement from nursing, she dedicated her life to fostering babies born ad-
dicted to crack cocaine and alcohol.
She is predeceased by her husbands, Hector Cabrera and Thomas Flan-
nery, with whom she shared three sons. She leaves behind her sons, Lewis
Flannery, Christopher Flannery and Paul Flannery; her special friend,
Larissa Macaluso; a brother, Paul R. Buckley, Jr. and his wife Rosemarie
Guggino Buckley of Indian Mills, N.J., and a sister, Edie Nelson and her husband Joseph of
Jim Thorpe, Pa. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews as well as extended
family and friends who loved her dearly.
A viewing was held Thursday, February 6 at the Marinella Funeral Home, Hammonton.
Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Our Lady of the Lakes Church, Collings Lakes.
Cremation was held privately at the convenience of the family. Burial will be held at Atlantic
County Veterans Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Kath-
leen’s memory to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr. Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.

Theft from
vehicle
investigated

HAMMONTON—Police are in-
vestigating a theft from a vehicle
that occurred on the prime block of
Golf Drive and was reported at
2:09 p.m. on February 8, Ham-
monton Police Chief Kevin Friel
said.
It was relayed to police that be-
tween 3 p.m. on February 7 and 8
p.m. on February 8 unknown ac-
tors entered a vehicle and stole a
wallet and $150 in cash, Friel said.
The wallet was described as a
Louis Vuitton wallet valued at
$500 and three $50 bills were said
to be inside the wallet, Friel said.
Officer William Kurz was the in-
vestigating officer, Friel said.
