Gregory J . Donzuso
Gregory J . Donzuso , 62 , of Hammonton , N . J . passed away Tuesday January 31 , 2023 at University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia , Pa . Greg was raised in Audubon , N . J . Greg worked as a chief engineer for Solvay Specialty Polymers , USA , LLC in West Deptford , N . J . His favorite activities were spending time giving tractor rides to the children in his life , playing with his grandchildren , cheering on the Eagles and Friday nights at Nino ’ s at the big table . Greg touched many peoples ’ lives by his kindness and always putting others first .
He is predeceased by his parents , Alfred and Rose Ordille Donzuso . Surviving is his loving bride , Maureen Donzuso ( nee Campbell ); his son , Gregory M . Donzuso of Hammonton , N . J .; daughter , Arianna Akin and her husband Doug of Williamstown , N . J ; his grandchildren , Annabelle , Autumn and Dougie ; his brother , Alfred Donzuso and wife Lauri of Audubon , N . J ; and a large extended family of brother in laws , sister in laws , nieces , nephews , and cousins along with many friends .
Relatives and friends were invited to attend his viewing Saturday February 4 , 2023 9:30 a . m . – 11 a . m . at St . Mary of Mt . Carmel Parish-St . Joseph Church corner of French and Third St . Hammonton , N . J . 08037 . A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a . m . Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 248 S . First Rd . Hammonton , N . J . 08037 . In lieu of flowers , donations may be made to the Children ’ s Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation P . O . Box 781352 Phila . Pa . 19178-1352 or giving @ chop . edu .
Pedestrian hit , later dies
POLICE , from Page 1 N . Washington Street , Friel said .
Olga Pedroza-Guadarrama , 63 , of Hammonton was walking across N . Washington Street in the crosswalk , Friel said .
Friel said driver number one observed Pedroza-Guadarrama in the crosswalk and stated he “ slammed on the brakes ” and impacted with her in the crosswalk . She was transported to Atlanti- Care Atlantic City Division , Friel said .
“ A police investigation revealed that driver number one was inattentive while making the left turn and failed to yield to the pedestrian in the crosswalk ,” Friel said .
Romero was charged with careless driving and failure to yield to a pedestrian , Friel said .
Pedroza-Guadarrama later succumbed to injuries and was pronounced dead at 6:07 p . m . on January 29 , Friel said .
Friel said the accident remains under investigation by Officer

In other police news , a fire broke out at 1:11 p . m . on January 23 at a home located on W . 15th Street , Friel said .
“ Police received a call in reference to a fire coming from the rear of the residence ,” Friel said .
The Hammonton Volunteer Fire Department responded to the fire , he said .
“ The resident stated she left home around 1 p . m . to get a coffee and when she returned home a large amount of smoke poured out of the front door when she opened it ,” Friel said .
Friel said the fire was extinguished and the cause of the fire is being investigated by the Hammonton Police Department .

guilty in a court of law .
