Jean M . Brigandi

Jean M . ( nee Nicoll ) Brigandi , 86 , of Winslow , died on thursday , January 12 , 2017 , at the Samaritan Center at Voorhees .
Mrs . Brigandi was born in Philadelphia , Pa ., and has been a Winslow resident for 62 years .
She is survived by her husband , Vincent S . Brigandi ; three sons , frank V . Brigandi ( Cathy ) of atco , Sam Brigandi of Hammonton and Richard a . Brigandi of Winslow ; two grandchildren , Jim Bompensa ( Maria ), Joseph O ’ Neil ( theresa ); three great-grandchildren , Mia , Jade and Drew ; one brother , Joseph Riggins ; one sister , Marguerite truitt ; three sisters-in-law , eleanor Greco , Judy Brigandi , and Joan Nicoll ; and many nieces and nephews . family and friends attended funeral Services on tuesday , January 17 , 2017 , at the Carnesale funeral Home , 202 S . third Street in Hammonton . Burial followed at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hammonton . in lieu of flowers , donations may be made to the charity of your choice . arrangements made by the Carnesale funeral Home .

Mary E . Coleman

Mary e . “ Betty ” ( nee Kincaid ) Coleman , 88 , of Woodbury Heights , died peacefully on January 9 , 2017 , surrounded by loved ones .
Betty was born in Philadelphia , Pa ., and was a resident of Woodbury Heights for 55 years . She was first employed by Pa Bell telephone and then by Red eagle Packing Co . for more than 40 years . Betty was a member of Southwood Baptist Church where she was an altar guild and a Sunday School Nursery teacher . She was loved by all and always went out of her way to help those in need . Betty loved the jersey shore , trips to the casinos , swimming and , most importantly , her family . She made the holidays special , especially Christmas of 2016 .
Betty was predeceased by her husband , Casimir “ Kye ” Coleman ; her brother , George e . Kincaid Sr . and her sister , Helen Granato . She is survived by her children , Michael ( Cindy ) Coleman , Karen Henry and Michele Dains ; her grandchildren , William Henry iii ( Connie ), Hugh Mcintyre , Katie Short , Michael ( Jess ) Coleman and Stephanie Coleman ; her great-grandchildren , Mason and Jordan Henry , Jesse Mcintyre and Brice Coleman , and brother-in-law , Nick Granato . Betty was loved unconditionally by her cat , toby . family and friends attended funeral Services on Saturday , January 14 , 2017 , at Southwood Baptist Church , 11 Griscom Lane , Woodbury , NJ 08096 . Burial was at Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery . Donations may be made to the Church . arrangements made by the Marinella funeral Home .

Local woman found hiding in attic

POLICE , from Page 1 odorant and Goya Black Beans totaling approximately $ 45 , Slimm said . alice Schriver , 45 , of Galloway twp ., a woman accompanying Luker at the ShopRite , was also arrested at the same time on warrants totaling $ 1,639 from Hammonton , Hamilton twp . and atlantic City , Slimm said . Schriver paid her bail and was released , Slimm said .
Luker was arrested by Officer Renzo Mendoza , and Schriver was arrested by Class ii Officer Christopher Sentell , Slimm said . in addition , a woman was arrested after police were called to investigate at a home on Pressey Street at 5:11 p . m . on January 10 , Slimm said .
“ the property owner wanted an escort to the property to investigate if anyone was in there ,” Slimm said .
Nicole Deannuntis , 35 , of Hammonton , was discovered hiding in the attic of the home , Slimm said .
Deannuntis also had warrants totaling $ 1,034 from Hammonton , Gloucester twp . and atlantic
HaMMONtON — the Hammonton education foundation ( Hef ) will hold its second annual student talent show at 6 p . m . friday , Jan . 20 , in the Hammonton High School Performing arts Center . the show , titled “ a Showcase of Stars ,” will include performances from approximately two dozen public school district students in kindergarten through fifth grade . Participants will sing , dance , play piano or showcase other special talents .
Last year ’ s show exceeded expectations , both in terms of the talents the students demonstrated and the crowd that attended , according to Colleen Mortellite , a Hammonton education f o u n - d a - t i o n trustee and member of the talent show planning committee .

John Panarello Jr . was the arresting officer . in other police news , James Lewis , 29 , of Winslow twp ., was arrested at the intersection of third Street and Carriage Way at 10:29 p . m . on January 10 for outstanding warrants from Riverside and the City of Camden totaling $ 1,400 , Slimm said .
Officer David Reustle was the arresting officer , Slimm said .
Christopher LeBron , 21 , of Hammonton , was stopped at 9:59 p . m . on January 12 for driving an unregistered vehicle and was found to be in possession of marijuana and also found to have an active warrant from Upper Deerfield twp . in the amount of $ 250 , Slimm said . the arrest was made at the intersection of the White Horse Pike ( Route 30 ) and Central avenue , Slimm said . LeBron was released pending court , Slimm said .

the show provides an opportunity to recognize students ’ talents and spirt , Mortellite added .
“ Confidence starts at an early age . it ’ s not easy to get up in front of people and perform . But these kids — our kids — do it , and they do it with such a sense of pride that we hope they carry on in years to come ,” she said . fifth-graders will perform a song during the show ’ s finale . “ We encourage all of the performers ’ family and friends , as well as members of the community , to come out and support all these kids . imagine how much it would mean to them to see so many people who took the time out of their night to come watch them ,” Mortellite said . tickets are $ 5 for adults and $ 2 for students . Children two and younger will be admitted free .
