Don’t miss our fantastic exhibition “A Viking’s Guide to Deadly Dragons” at the Dick Institute based on
the hugely popular children’s books by Cressida Cowell. Imprint Book Festival returns in October with a
great array of author talks, events and kids activities.
The Proclaimers will perform at the Grand Hall in December this year as part of their UK tour, and of
course it’s panto season at the Palace too!
Waterloo 200 - Charles Ewart and Kilmarnock’s Eagle remains on display at Dean Castle and The Words
Of Keir Hardie opens at the Baird Institute. Dean Castle & Country Park hosts its annual Harvest event,
part of our first month long Countryside Festival with a whole range of events and activities taking
place across East Ayrshire. Don’t forget to sign up for the annual Ghost Walk where you might stumble
across some evil Vikings! There’s a huge amount of activities and classes taking place at your local sports
centre too, with something to suit all ages.
Visit our website for information on venues, events and activities, latest news, online booking
and much more. Please note a fee of £1.50 will apply to card payments online and at the box office.
