Don’t miss our fantastic exhibition “A Viking’s Guide to Deadly Dragons” at the Dick Institute based on the hugely popular children’s books by Cressida Cowell. Imprint Book Festival returns in October with a great array of author talks, events and kids activities. The Proclaimers will perform at the Grand Hall in December this year as part of their UK tour, and of course it’s panto season at the Palace too! Waterloo 200 - Charles Ewart and Kilmarnock’s Eagle remains on display at Dean Castle and The Words Of Keir Hardie opens at the Baird Institute. Dean Castle & Country Park hosts its annual Harvest event, part of our first month long Countryside Festival with a whole range of events and activities taking place across East Ayrshire.
