The quality is not in question and this is underscored by the fulsome praise and high ratings achieved in such reputable publications as the “Malt Whisky Yearbook” and “Jim Murray's Whisky Bible”. Lark, Sullivans Cove, Overeem and Nant have all had enviable scores, great write-ups and awards which are the envy of many, more widely known, global brands. And there is also considerable variety amongst the eight current producers as between the different types of whisky within the Tasmania classification including the various rye whiskies from the Belgrove Distillery.
