BE YOU BUT NOT
YOU WHEN YOU ARE
SERVING GOD
BE YOU in the sense of being real in serving
God, stop allowing emotions to control your
calling, stop allowing people who have
different ideologies to tell you what to do in
serving God, stop allowing public opinions to
control your calling and the ministry God
Gives you and also don’t allow personal
motives, etc. but be you in the sense of
completely be you.
Controlling emotions, public opinions, and
other things, which may prohibit us from not
allowing serving God, should not be allowed
in any leadership. Leaders should know that
emotions, public opinions can play a big role
in any leadership.
Controlling it can make a Leader express
confidence in an individual by showing
positive affect toward them. In serving
God, we need to be careful with our
emotions, public opinions, and also other
bad ideologies, which can make us be
uncomfortable when we are serving God.
The negative impact of this can make a
leader to be less satisfied with anything
they are doing. And this can more likely
cause a person to leave the organization;
living in the context of others can make us
be unsuccessful leaders. This doesn’t mean
that we need to neglect the views or
opinions of others; taking others' opinions
and views as feedback is the most
important thing in life. The ministry, which
God has given us, is to serve people who
are around us. But not to seek our personal
glory.
