Military Month A s you may know, our school has been supporting every branch of the military for the past few years. It is a great way to show our appreciation for the people that serve our country. They risks their lives for us in order for us to have a good life. By showing our support, we are letting them know they are not alone. In addition to the Patriot Day Assembly and Ferocious Friday, our school has been putting together care packages and writing letters for our soldiers. Ms. Roberts from ASB has been working hard and assigning students like Hope Nicholas to do tasks and activities for our school such as Ferocious Friday. army. If you want to donate and make a difference, you can go to D107 and drop off supplies listed above. We would appreciate everyone's help to show our support and appreciation of what they do for our country. The letters to soldiers get distributed through the same army friend and a former Pollard student who is part of the Navy. Our letters are encouragement for our soldiers who are fighting for us. These letters could change there day from bad to good. Its important that they feel appreciated for what they do. In all of your homerooms, you can get the chance to write a letter to one of them. After you have written your letter, you can turn it into your homeroom teacher which will be delivered to ASB. In order for us to help benefit the soldiers deployment, Our school feels that this can improve there confidence ASB puts together care packages. The care packages and mood for their everyday battles. include snacks that don’t spoil, deck of cards, Kleenex, We'd like to Thank everyone who has or will participate toothbrushes, pens, razors, lotion toothpaste, floss, and in helping our soldiers. etc. Ms. Roberts has a friend who is an retired army sol-Karen Vasquez and Rheanna Vonic dier who will deliver our care packages.
