I n November , Lee V Pollard ASB students held a blood drive in which Pollard students came together to collect blood for those in need for a blood transfusion .

All the students that had signed up to donate gathered in the Lion ' s Den where the whole process took any where from one hour to an hour and a half but the whole taking the blood out actually takes anywhere from 8 to 15 minutes . While a blood drive is a great opportunity for students to make a real impact on another person ' s life , running

" The hardest part is making sure that people are eating right and have enough salt ."
The reactions of the donors where some felt scared , weird , and others felt like it was a cool thing . There were students that said it made them feel cold and others felt pain when sticking the needle inside the vain . Many of the students had either already donated before and for some , it was their first time

donated blood before and he replied " obviously no ".

Livestream worker Celia reminds future donors that if they are planning to donate blood to not get any skin piercing or tattoos with any unsterile needles and to be well and healthy to donate .
