LDC producing great outcomes

The Landholders Driving Change ( LDC ) Accelerated Grazing Support project wraps up next year .
The outcomes are shaping up to be monumental :
• Sediment target of 46,600 tonnes prevented from entering waterways will be exceeded .
• 79,902 hectares of management practice change supporting water quality outcomes .
• 100 per cent of on-ground work used local contractors .
Achievements worth celebrating
Bowen , Broken , Bogie ( BBB ) basin landholders and land managers have achieved a lot through the Landholders Driving Change project . Keep an eye out in Prime Cuts for details of a suitable get-together , probably around March- April , where we can reflect on those successes .
• LDC contracted $ 597,737 in grants and received more than $ 910,500 of in-kind contributions including donated goods , services and volunteer work to support the project .
