Since 2019, the Grazing Resilience and Sustainable Solutions( GRASS) program has supported Burdekin graziers to improve land condition, productivity and landscape resilience through tailored Action Plans for Land Management( APLMs) and on-ground support.
Many graziers have put their plans into action.

Graziers and land managers in Bowen( below) and Charters Towers( right) recently learnt how planned fire could boost grazing, control weeds and build more resilient properties at Burning for Outcomes workshops led by Rural Fire Service Queensland.
