There’s a busy year ahead for THE aim of LDC is to deliver enduring and sustainable land management within the communities of the Bowen, Broken and Bogie (BBB) catchment. This will help improve the productivity of grazing enterprises, reduce the loss of sediment and particulate nutrients, and decrease the impact on important wetlands, coastal aquatic habitats and ecosystems, and the Great Barrier Reef. The BBB catchment is about 11,718 km 2 with 181 properties (not including Collinsville urban areas). Of these, 71 are grazing properties larger than 2000 hectares. While these 71 properties are the primary focus of the BBB Grazing Support activity area, all properties remain within scope of the other activity areas. The project’s five activity areas l BBB Grazier Support l Landscape Remediation l Influencing Other Land Managers l Exploring New Incentives l Policy Engagement P4 | Grit Issue 9, February, 2019
