NQ Dry Tropics is a proud host of the QFF Agricultural Extension Work Placement Program, which helps early career extension officers learn from real-world examples in reef catchments. During the Burdekin leg, NQ Dry Tropics’ Graduate Field Officer Claire Cornel and Senior Grazing Extension Officer Brad Martin hosted participants at Mt Pleasant Station, where graziers Jamie Gordon and Garlone Moulin shared how they’ ve improved grazing land management and adapted their practices.
