Judge ’ s comments : A very well composed image technically . Everything in the frame has a connection that works . With the horse turned and looking on , it really connects with the stockman . An overcast day with great even lighting conditions , so no harsh shadows . Everything in the frame relates to tell a story . The main focus on the cowboy and then a drift of depth of field into the distance , really turns the viewers attention to … the ‘ people element ’. Well done .
