MERI monitors progress towards the goal ONITORING, Evaluation, Reporting M and Improvement (MERI) is important to the LDC project. A monitoring and evaluation strategy has been developed to help keep track of milestones and monitor progress towards pre-defined project outcomes. Weed hygiene training workshop hosted a Weed Hygiene workshop L DC at the Collinsville Scottville Workers Club in March. Landholders learned about biosecurity, government legislation, and how to clean and inspect vehicles and machinery for plant materials. Project panel members out and about OCAL graziers on the project L LDC’s panel advise and oversee the action plan. They attend many events held across the BBB. It’s only early April - yet between them they have already travelled many miles. RASH manual and videos now available e have packaged a soil health W tool kit for graziers - a Rapid Assessment of Soil Health (RASH) manual written by well known agriculture ecologist David Hardwick, along with a series of short videos that demonstrate how to carry out the various soil tests.
