Happy Holidays to the Zeta Phi Zeta Family,
I want to take the time to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, and what a New Year it will be for Z Phi Z. As we prepare to turn the corner on 2013, I am excited about "Relinquish 2014".
Let's not wait until the National Conference before we begin to practice the art of "relinquishing" those things that have so easily beset us. Let's start doing it now! 2013 may have been a difficult year for some of you; I know it was for me. But I have the option of carrying this year's difficulties into 2014 or leaving them in 2013.
I want to encourage all of you not to take 2013 with you. You may have had valleys in 2013, but remember that trouble doesn't last always. The trials came in 2013 to make you stronger in 2014. Your valleys will turn into peaks.
As the organization turns the corner, I see great things in the horizon. Dave Felton and the Fraternity are on the move doing big things. We are spiritually covered by Anthony Caraway's consistent spiritual diet of fasting (he obviously hates food). Soror Brenda keeps the balances correct and the bills paid. Andre' keeps us moving with steps and strolls as we continue recruiting. In 2014, the Sorors will be back with a vengeance. I give warning to the Bros to watch out; there are some beautiful butterflies preparing to take flight!
I want to thank all of you for hanging in there and look forward to Relinquish 2014! Prepare NOW for the greatest conference we've ever had!
