WELCOME TO THE GREAT BRITISH WEDDING'S NEW MONTHLY WEDDING GUIDE!
When the Great British Wedding website launched back in December, I knew I wanted to have a site that encompassed all aspects of a wedding.... including being a source of inspiration and advice. But with so many amazing blogs out there, I didn't want the site to have a blog in the traditional sense of the word. Instead, I wanted to focus on the wonderful suppliers and venues in our own directories, and the fantastic products in our own store - as well as providing articles that would inspire and assist couples planning their big day in the UK.
Since then the site has begun to grow, with new suppliers and sellers, the addition of the venue directories (that took a little longer to get just right than I anticipated!) and we are starting to spread our wings -
with competitions with You and Your Wedding, and stands at the London Gay Wedding Show and the Birmingham National Wedding Show.
Finally it was time to change our 'blog' into the resource it was always meant to be - and at the same time I am proud to announce that we are sponsoring the best bridal newcomer award at this year's Wedding Blog Awards; our way of celebrating all the wonderful wedding blogs out there.
For our first ever issue we are celebrating all that is luxury - from dresses (our front cover is the exquistite Margot dress by Stephanie Allin - see more of her work later!), to advice from our resident expert, luxury wedding planner Michael Adeniji-Adele - and everything in between! Hope that you enjoy it!
