Last Friday [24th May] saw the class of 2013 graduate in style with a reception and dinner at the Grand Centara Mirage hotel in Pattaya. The evening was the last hurrah for Year 13, who have worked extremely hard over the last few months for their final exams. It was a great opportunity for everyone to celebrate the achievements of the students and reflect on their time at St Andrews. The buffet dinner was delicious and the photo slide shows and speeches were well received. Joel took everyone by surprise with an impromptu but heartfelt speech, in which he thanked his teachers for their assistance during his time at school and recognized that he hadn’t always been the most willing of students! All six graduates looked resplendent in their graduation gowns and mortar boards and collected their graduation certificates with their their proud friends and relatives looking on. There were hugs,’ thank yous’, lots of laughter and a few tears. It was a lovely celebration for all involved.
