The Miami Gardens Christian Community Against Crime Prayer Rally
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land – 2nd Chronicles 7:14 On Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 9AM, the Miami Gardens Christian Community against Crime will host a Prayer Rally. The focus of this Prayer Rally is to transform lives through prayer. It is our mission to rally the Christian community of Miami Gardens by unleashing our capacity for connection to, compassion for and cooperation with the residents of the City of Miami Gardens. Our city as well as our country has been riddled with senseless acts of violence and the violent acts continue to happen over and over again. Dorothy Day once said “No one has a right to sit down and feel helpless,
there’s too much to do” -- The Miami Gardens Christian Community Against Crime, is making a conscious effort to stand up and do something about the violence in their city and invite you to join them at the rally. The rally will commence at 2783 NW 183rd Street Miami Gardens, Florida (Spirit of Christ Lot) and will end at Betty T. Ferguson Recreational Complex located at 3000 NW 199th Street, Miami Garden, Florida. With this Rally it is our ultimate goal to break the cycle of violence and take our city back. For more information regarding the event, please contact Brodes Perry at 305-624-8170 ext. 30 or [email protected].
