My Father, My God:
Today is a day that was made and ordained by You. I thank You for it and for all of the blessings this day
brings. With the sunshine comes the warm reminder that blood continues to flow through my veins. With
the daybreak comes the reminder that each day is a new opportunity to get it right, whatever “it” is. Each
night reminds me that finding rest and peace in You brings healing to my soul. Father I thank You with all
my heart for this day!
As I anticipate tomorrow, Dear Lord, I honor this day. For tomorrow is not promised, and today is all I really
have. I pray Father that each of my “todays” are cherished as gifts from You. I pray that I will honor Your
willingness to grant me another day by using it to glorify You. Help me, Dear God, to remember that my
greatest job on this earth is to be an instrument of Your love, and to share Your light!
