resolu By Lonnie Lewis An open field allows you to stroll at leisure, taking up whatever sights or smells you feel like enduring. As we walk this life, it’s reminded that fields are dreams. With each field having its own significance. Perhaps a chance encounter that changes your idealism, or maybe even a simple gesture of words that can bring clarity to a clouded mind. It’s truly up to the individual to decipher the meanings behind all sensations that happen to them. Our hope is that along this journey through our fields, we may find some sort of peace. That comfort in knowing our choices have been made without to much regret. After all, lets be honest, we all have some sort of regret in some way. I contemplate it’s this regret that helps us find our path in the field, it allows us to seek such beauty when the dark clouds cover the sun. Not all is bad, this message is clear. Although it may seem clouds lay overcast in our nestled homes. It is us who determine rather the rain will bring self-indulgence or self-inspiration. Yes, our choices do have consequences, much like everything we do has some type of effect on this universe. This is not to say one is good or bad, just simply each action has an opposite and equal reaction, like we’ve been taught. When the seasons change, so do the people. Here it is again, the time which each of us reflects back upon the last year and pays remorse for our choices. Somehow, each year on Dec 31st, we find it expectable to hit this so-called reset button. As if some magical force is going to make everything better. We make promises to ourselves that most won’t keep
