Toulouse loves Christmas! The shop windows of the old town are dressed to impress and the atmosphere in this friendly town is festive and charming!
The main Christmas market of Toulouse is installed on Place Capitole from November 27 to December 27, 2015. An illuminated village with beautiful white cottages makes for a magical visit. There are lots of shops around that sell quirky and unusual gifts to take home.
There is a smaller Christmas market in the Place du General de Gaulle. November 27 to December 27.
For great ambience head to the old town and place St Georges for a taste of local life and lovely terrace café s. Encircled by classical style buildings, charming shops this is where those in the know hang out.
