dōTERRA found the perfect location for a new Cō-Impact Sourcing™ project in Moldova . Moldova has a long history of producing essential oils , and there is an abundance of knowledge , hardworking people and great climatic conditions to grow highquality essential oils in the region .
Our new state-of-the-art distillery will create jobs and bring economic growth to one of the poorest countries in Europe . By securing long-term contracts with farmers and paying fair and on-time wages , dōTERRA aims to give them the confidence to expand their lands and invest in their future .
Clary sage , cilantro leaf , coriander seed and fennel are the first four aromatic plants to be sourced from Moldova . As with other Cō-Impact Sourcing™ projects , dōTERRA provides farmers and growers with the right seeds and education on the best techniques to grow healthy plants . It ’ s exciting to think that this is just the beginning .
