Did you know that 100 % of the purchase price of dōTERRA Hope™ Touch goes directly towards fighting human trafficking ?
Approximately 40.3 million people are enslaved worldwide , including labour and sex trafficking . Since 2016 , dōTERRA Healing Hands™ has donated a total of 8 million dollars to organisations in fifteen different countries , that work to eradicate modern slavery .
To fulfil this mission , dōTERRA developed the HOPE model as a comprehensive framework to fight against human trafficking . The HOPE model focuses on prevention , rescue and aftercare .
Prevention : Each one of us can prevent human trafficking in our communities through education and protecting our most vulnerable .
In July , dōTERRA Healing Hands™ partnered with Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie to raise awareness on human trafficking and launch the HOPE month ahead of the World Day Against Trafficking Persons , on 30 July 2021 .
In 2021 , dōTERRA Europe donated over 22,000 € to Anti-Trafficking efforts including a youth programme in one of Albania ’ s poorest and most isolated regions . These efforts aim to enable youths to gain knowledge and skills that will help their transition to adulthood , making them less vulnerable to human trafficking .
dōTERRA is also working with a local partner to train social assistants in the region to increase their capacity for rescue , trauma support and prevention of human trafficking .
Rescue : Join us in supporting task forces , law enforcement and trained experts who have dedicated their lives to human trafficking rescue operations .
Aftercare : Those who have been trafficked need safe and comprehensive trauma-informed care . We support those who are on their journey to self-reliance .
